According to the comScore report, during the third quarter of this year, 74% Internet users in the United States had at least one online shopping.

The corresponding ratio for the second quarter of this year was 70%.


The comScore report also shows that during the third quarter of this year, 40% of retail e-commerce pactions in the United States were free of freight charges.

The corresponding ratio for the fourth quarter of 2010 was 49%.

Under normal circumstances, the annual rate of e-commerce pactions will be peaked during the Christmas holiday shopping season.


ComScore believes that, despite the United States
