Monthly Report On Cotton Turnover Inventory (June 2014)

The cotton warehouse Association of China Cotton Association has counted 181 warehousing units. As of the end of June, the total turnover of commodity cotton turnover was 164 thousand tons (including 150 thousand tons in the inland library and 14 thousand tons in the Xinjiang Library), an increase of 7 thousand tons in the chain ratio, a decrease of 105 thousand tons compared with the same period last year.

Imported cotton and Xinjiang cotton are the main products in the turnover of commodity cotton, 54% of which are imported cotton, 38% of Xinjiang cotton and 8% of real estate cotton. Xinjiang cotton railway mainly depends on cotton reserves, and highway transportation is mainly based on commodity cotton. This month, 29 thousand tons of cotton were released from the highway, 44 thousand tons less than the Central Plains, and 260 thousand tons of cotton released in 2013.

Accordingly, the total inventory of cotton turnover in the whole country is about 202 thousand tons, an increase of 9 thousand tons from the previous month. In that month, 28 transit stations in the Xinjiang District transported 200 tons of commercial cotton to the mainland by rail.

As of the end of June, the turnover of commodity cotton turnover in the 153 cotton warehouses in the mainland was 150 thousand tons, an increase of 8 thousand tons, a decrease of 107 thousand tons compared with the same period last year. Imported cotton accounts for 59%, Xinjiang cotton accounts for 33% and real estate cotton accounts for 8%.

From the mainland Stock In terms of distribution, Shandong and Jiangsu have the largest stocks, followed by Henan, Hebei, Anhui and Hubei. By the end of June, 28 warehouses in Xinjiang had been converted into 14 thousand tons of commodity cotton week (middle), with a reduction of 1 thousand tons, a decrease of 2 thousand tons compared with the same period last year. All the stocks are Xinjiang cotton.

The above transfer stations shipped 800 tons of commercial cotton to the mainland through the railway in the month, a decrease of 2 thousand and 200 tons, a decrease of 2 thousand and 200 tons compared with the same period last year. According to this calculation, Xinjiang cotton has a capacity of about 200 tons at the end of June.
