Zhejiang Semir apparel Limited by Share Ltd (hereinafter referred to as Semir apparel) has released its 2018 performance bulletin. During the reporting period, the company achieved operating income of 15 billion 716 million yuan, an increase of 30.68% over the same period last year, and net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies was 1 billion 693 million yuan, an increase of 48.74% over the same period last year. The basic earnings per share were 0.63 yuan, 0.42 yuan a year earlier.




By the end of the reporting period, the total assets of Semir clothing were 16 billion 714 million yuan, an increase of 22.51% over the current reporting period.




For the reporting period, the main reason for the increase in the company's operating income is Semir's interpretation:




(1) the growth of leisure wear business, the steady growth of children's business and the rapid development of online sales have promoted the company's income growth;




(2) the company's acquisition of French SofizaSAS company in the current period, bringing its business income in the fourth quarter of 2018 into a merger, has led to revenue growth.

Wei Hongmei, an analyst with Dongguan securities, believes that the growth of Semir's apparel performance is mainly due to the steady growth of the main business and the acquisition and merger. It is estimated that the net income from the fourth quarter of 2018 and the net profit attributable to the parent company are 5 billion 952 million yuan and 421 million yuan respectively, representing an increase of 49% and 234% compared with the same period last year. The operating income of the first quarter, the two quarter and the three quarter increased by 21.57%, 27.62% and 17.25% respectively, representing an increase of 23.88%, 26% and 26% respectively.

Semir apparel Board Secretary Zong Hui Chun said earlier that Semir's business development was good in 2018, and the revenue and profits in the first three quarters had increased by more than 20%. Zong Huichun said that the overall operation of the fourth quarter of 2018 was good, and the retail end achieved year-on-year growth. In the second half of the year, compared with the first half of the year, the annual revenue performance was in line with the business plan.
