For fabric enterprises, a new product is designed, which needs to be obtained by proofing, so that the performance of the product can be judged more intuitively, so that customers can choose and enrich the product library.

For weaving enterprises, proofing is an important means of technological accumulation. In every sense, a new product is a technological upgrading. Besides evaluating the technical level of a weaving enterprise, besides the hardware aspect, the soft power of technology is also a very important index.

But this year's situation is slightly different from previous years, mainly in two aspects.

In previous years, although the textile enterprises have begun proofing at this time, the quantity is far less than this year.

Fewer transactions

Compared with the increase in proofing, this year's order is not ideal.

The new product orders are few and far between, the upstream enterprises tend to be cautious and dare not place orders, even if there are orders, it is also a small number of thousands of meters, and even this small number is not much.

As mentioned above, more than 200 fabric companies have been hit, so far, no real documents have been received.

Why is there such a situation?

First half of the market is not good, textile enterprises are facing "life and death test".

In the first half of this year, we have concluded the first half of the year, and we can see that this year's conventional products have not been sold.

The excess capacity of water jet looms is a commonplace problem. In the market, the inventory of conventional spring Asian spinning and polyester taffeta is at a historical high level, but weaving enterprises have no orders, and can only continue to weave some conventional products under the condition of maintaining the commencement of operation.

Contrary to conventional products, some differentiated products such as T400 and four rounds can still guarantee certain sales volume under the overall market bias. But differentiated products are more diverse than conventional products, which require more technology accumulation.

This year, the textile market is generally weak, making some enterprises experiencing "life and death tests". Therefore, they will expect more in the second half of the year. When the market will not start, preparations like proofing will be done more fully.

Changing trend of garment orders, testing fabric enterprises' "arsenal"

At present, the diversity of clothing orders is also a new change. Nowadays, the garment industry is also very sad. How many large listed clothing enterprises have gone through the problem of closing stores and inventory backlog.

On the one hand, with the rise of Taobao and many other e-commerce channels, the apparel industry has entered the buyer's market from the seller's market. On the other hand, with the rise of fast fashion, people's demands for fashion trends and personalization are getting higher and higher, and clothing design has also put forward higher requirements.

In the past two years, the order pattern of clothing brand has changed from "big single" to "small batch and multiple batches". During the visit, there was a cloth boss who had been involved in the textile industry for more than 20 years. The trend is irreversible. In addition to some regular commodities, all future orders may appear in the "small order" situation.

This change of trend requires higher demand for fabric reserves of fabric enterprises. For them, "fabric library" is "arsenal". Only by developing new products and expanding the "arsenal" can we be able to cope with the real market.

In the first half of the year, because of the poor overall environment, most of the textile enterprises were "not full", waiting for the market to improve in the second half of the year. But from the source point of view, clothing enterprises are also not good, so the order has become more cautious.
