Recently, Nike John Slusher, the global vice president, made an official announcement to all Nike signed female athletes by mail: Nike will not cut all the rights of any athlete sponsorship contract because of the pregnancy of female athletes. The term of application is: from 8 months before the due date to 10 months after delivery.

Earlier, Nike was accused of reducing sponsorship fees for pregnant women athletes.

In March of this year, Nike launched the Dream Crazier, an advertisement featuring women athletes. The content is narration by Serena Williams, a woman tennis player. The word "Crazy" is used to describe the other side of the female athletes when they face unfair treatment and doubt, and break the stereotype of people. Female athletes are encouraged and spread wildly on the Internet. There is no two in the limelight.

However, on the mother's day after two months, Nike was caught up in public opinion. Three American athletes sent a video to the New York Times, claiming that Nike would reduce sponsorship or even stop sponsorship during the female athletes' pregnancy. For a moment, Nike stood on the cusp of public opinion. The image of "caring for women and respecting women" seemed somewhat untenable.

The John Slusher is a sign for all the female athletes who signed up, that is, Nike is trying to make up for its mistakes, stop unfair treatment for female athletes, and encourage female athletes to pursue their dreams without burden at the same time.
