On September 6~7, the 2019 national advanced training course of textile complex personnel training (short for textile high training class) gathered again in Bengbu for two days of study and communication. Following the convening of the twenty-fifth China International Chemical fiber conference held in Bengbu, Anhui Province on September 4~5, with the theme of "open integration, joint development and collaborative development of global chemical fiber industry", the training course focused on the research and exchange of bio based fibers, biodegradable fibers and fiber frontiers, new fiber materials in military industry, non-woven technology, chemical fiber and cotton spinning standardization, and made a thematic discussion on the formulation of enterprise strategy.

Opening new ideas from leading fiber to nonwoven materials

The progress of materials determines the process of social development, and the application of polymer materials has penetrated into all aspects of human life. However, more and more attention is paid to environmental protection. It is urgent to research and develop biodegradable polymer materials which are biodegradable and green.

During the course, Professor Zhu Meifang, Dean of the school of materials science and engineering, Donghua University, shared the "frontier development of bio based fibers, biodegradable fibers and fibers". She gave a detailed introduction to the background and research and development cases of bio based fibers and biodegradable fibers. Through the research and development cases of polylactic acid, polyhydroxyfatty acid ester and regenerated cellulose, the research background, application fields and prospects of the three projects were introduced to the participants.

She pointed out that the four factors of safety, environmental protection, energy and health will promote the global direction of bio based fiber: low cost, multi-functional, nano and intelligent development. In the sharing, Zhu Meifang reminded that in the actual research and development process, enterprises should link materials to fiber, broaden the application field of fiber and be bold in innovation. At present, China has achieved good results in some fields of application in fiber, and the main body of innovation is small and medium-sized enterprises. The industry should focus on the industrial chain to deploy innovative chain, further strengthen the forward-looking layout in fiber field, implement innovative projects, actively participate in international competition, and help China's fiber products go global.

All countries in the world attach great importance to the rapid development of new materials, and vigorously develop the new technology of dual use of military materials is an important measure for all countries to seize the commanding heights of national defense technology. Dr. Hao Xinmin, a System Engineering Research Institute of the Academy of Military Sciences of the Chinese people's Liberation Army, shared the "application and development of new materials and machinery textiles in the military field". He made a detailed introduction to the general situation and basic performance research of military uniform, differential polyester fiber and comprehensive utilization of hemp and hemp.

In modern warfare, the use of high performance fabric can greatly enhance the activity and combat effectiveness of soldiers. In the development of our army's clothing, we have attached importance to the research and application of new fiber materials. According to the introduction, in the 70s of last century, with the industrialization development of PET staple fiber, our army took the lead in researching and developing polyester card clothing, and based on polyester staple fiber, formed the "87 style garments" to ensure the basic wear demand of the army. In 1990s, the polyester filament of our country gradually rose, and the army focused on the research of differential and functional polyester filament, and developed the polyester multi variant and multiple composite deformed spinning technology, which was put into use by the garrison troops and improved to form the "07 style garments" of our army. High performance, multi-function, lightweight, intellectualization, systematization, comfort and greening are the focus of the future development trend of military protective clothing.

How to reduce the cost of an enterprise and how to improve its efficiency? Hao Xinmin said that the future digital intelligence is the foundation for the development of the industry. On the one hand, brand marketing needs to be integrated through industrial application; on the other hand, it is necessary to persist in scientific research so as to achieve transcendence. At present, some enterprises in China insist on investment in scientific research, which is worth learning by other enterprises.

At present, the nonwoven technology and industry have already matured. The demand of the market is no longer just the quantity satisfaction, but the higher demand for technology, technology and equipment. This also puts forward new requirements for the development of nonwoven industry. Prof. Jin Xiangyu, Professor of nonwoven materials and Engineering Department of textile School of Donghua University, shared the "nonwoven technology". He introduced in detail the basic characteristics of nonwoven technology and its application in various fields. Because of its lightweight, high specific surface area and porous characteristics, nonwovens are used in many fields, such as disposable medical textiles and fabrics, geosynthetics, filtration and separation, protection engineering, drug delivery and so on.

Jin Xiangyu pointed out that, in the future, the development of nonwoven industry should be driven by innovation, based on quality and market demand, strengthen quality standard construction, cultivate famous brand in the industry, promote industrial restructuring, enhance enterprise competitiveness, strengthen production demand convergence, Gou Jianxin type intelligent industrial supply chain, promote green manufacturing, develop circular economy, pay attention to scientific and technological progress and multidisciplinary cross integration development, fully grasp the two development opportunities of domestic demand market growth and consumption upgrading, and accelerate the qualitative leap of China's nonwoven industry. He also shared the theme of "high-speed non-woven reinforcement technology and intelligence".

Lu Xiuqin, senior engineer of Shanghai Textile Industry Technical Supervision Institute, shared the "formulation of standards for chemical fiber and cotton textiles". She introduced the status quo of standardization of chemical fiber and cotton spinning, the standard revision process and how to compile standards.

As an expert in the field of chemical fiber standardization in China, Lu Xiuqin has been engaged in standardization of chemical fiber textile for many years. She said that the standard construction of chemical fiber industry played an important role in improving product quality, regulating market, promoting trade, connecting upstream and downstream industries, and promoting industrial structure adjustment and transformation and upgrading. According to reports, since 2010, China's chemical fiber industry has been trying to push China's mature and international standards to the international level. Lu Xiuqin also gave a brief introduction and explanation to the basic standards, the method standards and the specific standards of product standards. Lu Xiuqin also explained and analyzed the process of making and revising enterprise standards. She encouraged enterprises to take an active part in the construction of industry standardization.

Wang Xiuhua, Professor of materials and textile School of Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, has made a sharing of functional fibers and textiles. She made a detailed introduction to the development of China's chemical fibers, the differentiation and functionalization of chemical fibers, and the guiding opinions on the development of the chemical fiber industry in 13th Five-Year.

Their characteristics and new product development and application have been explained in a simple way, and also introduced several new products of foreign characteristics, pointing out that green (coloring of raw liquor, atmospheric pressure dyeable, biomass fiber, recycling of waste textiles, etc.), multi-functional composite (fiber appearance, skin affinity, function, comfort, etc.) are new product development trends. Among them, in the development guidance of "13th Five-Year" development of chemical fiber industry, fiber new materials are the key areas and directions for the third part of the planning. Enterprises should attach importance to new fiber materials: differential, multi-functional fiber quality upgrading, high performance fiber industrialization and bio based fiber industrialization; green manufacturing, intelligent manufacturing, brand and quality improvement. During the course, the trainees also visited Anhui Fengyuan Group Co., Ltd. and visited the Fengyuan polyacid long and short fiber production line to understand the raw material processing, spinning, post-processing, cutting, packing and other specific processes of polylactic acid fiber in the production process. In addition, we visited the spinning process of PLA fiber in the spinning workshop. Combined with the knowledge of spinning, the students have a deeper understanding from theory to practice.
