According to the 24 hours website of South African finance September 16th, President ramatussa promised that the government will take more measures to crack down on illegal imports of Chinese clothing and textiles at the national assembly of South African clothing and textile workers union. The South African tax bureau has been strengthening its investigation and enforcement capabilities to better combat illegal imports of clothing. In 7-9 months, the IRS conducted 2500 surprise checks to find counterfeit and illegal imports, and the value of goods was more than 1 billion rand. In addition, the government will be more vigilant in implementing the "purchase of local products" procurement rules to support the local clothing and textile industry.
