At this China Textile and clothing exhibition, customers from all over the world are shopping for fabrics.
Many Chinese enterprises have brought products with the concept of sustainable development, attracting merchants from all over Europe.
Sustainable development is the theme of this China Textile and clothing trade exhibition (Paris) and Paris international clothing and accessories exhibition.
The twenty-second China Textile and clothing trade exhibition (Paris) "Paris exhibition in autumn" is currently being held in Boer Exhibition Center, Beijiao, Paris. At this autumn Paris exhibition, garment and fabric exhibitors from 33 countries and regions including Mainland China, Hongkong, Turkey, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Ethiopia and Kampuchea participated in the exhibition, with more than 1100 exhibitors in China. In the context of Sino US trade disputes and the pressure of the world economy, how should China's textile and garment enterprises adjust their strategies and change their mentality and meet challenges?
At the exhibition site, the reporters saw many merchants negotiating business, and also praised the quality of Chinese products. But when asked about the transaction, many exhibitors said that the situation was not as good as before. Talking about the reasons, Yan Yan, the head of a textile fabric company in Guangdong, said that Sino US trade disputes and Britain's deo Europe all had an impact: "customers don't dare to place orders." Like we have some planned orders this year, we haven't seen any of them during the season. Customers say they want to have a look. I don't know what will happen tomorrow. I think the whole market is not very good, nor is Europe particularly good, because the British orders are also affected when Britain fails to draw conclusions.
This is not the plight of a Chinese textile and garment enterprise. Many Chinese textile and garment enterprises are getting worse and worse by the fact that the United States has imposed tariffs on China's textile and clothing products and the overall performance of the world economy has been depressed. How to get out of this predicament? Many enterprises at the exhibition are looking for their own way. Some enterprises choose to do well in existing products and consolidate old customers. "For the products, we are basically based on the products that we can do well, do relatively experienced and have fewer problems," said Ms. song, a fashion women's clothing manufacturer in Shanghai. Our company is positioned in this way: first we should divide the customer base first, stabilize the old customers, and steadily add some new idealized customers at the same time.
The red bean group exhibiting is a well-known clothing enterprise in China. They play a combination of "going out + product upgrading". Ms. sun, the company's business manager, said: "we have red bean Industrial Park in Kampuchea. This year we have already walked to Burma, where we operate orders normally. So as long as there are overseas factories supporting us, our orders should not be small. That kind of delivery is quicker, the order quantity is relatively small, the style is quite complex, will remain in China to do. In the past two years, the guests still prefer some functional fabrics, and then we have a series of specialties. This is waterproof, this is iron free... "
Ms. Yan's textile enterprises in Guangdong mainly produce chemical fibers and blended fabrics. She told reporters that because of its complete industrial chain, China has a larger advantage over other emerging areas in chemical fiber and blended fabrics. Nevertheless, enterprises have increased technological innovation, which has brought many fabrics related to sustainability. "This is also a response to the current changes. Customers emphasize the concept of environmental protection, renewable and self degradation, so this exhibition mainly focuses on some concepts related to environmental protection. We used some regenerated polyester fibers, some synthetic fibers, such as Tencel and modal fiber.
Whether the existing products are bigger or stronger, or the line of differentiation is different, Chinese textile and garment enterprises are working hard to cope with the current predicament. In the view of Yan Yan, director of the social responsibility Office of the China Federation of textile industry, only by further accelerating the pace of development of the whole industry can China's textile and garment industry better cope with the long-term challenges in the future: "one is that it can lead the development direction of the whole industry." For example, the current direction of development is to enter a new era of sustainable development. The first is to know what the general trend of internationalization is. Under this goal, how to find their own position, identify the sustainable development goals and the coordination point of their products. Under such a big trend, it can lead the way, and turn the direction of leadership into a practical, executable pilot project or working mode, so that your product has the added value that can meet the trend of global development. This is to be considered. So whether you can give people confidence or confidence in the rest of the world is whether your own development can play a leading role.
