In September 2019, The Producer Price Of Industrial Producers Dropped By 1.2% Compared To The Same Period Last Year.

In September 2019, the producer prices of industrial producers fell by 1.2% over the same period last year, rising by 0.1% compared with the same period, and the purchasing prices of industrial producers fell by 1.7% compared with the same period last year, rising by 0.2% over the same period. From 1 to September, the producer prices of industrial producers were flat compared with the same period last year, and the purchasing prices of industrial producers dropped by 0.3%.

I. Changes in industrial producer prices over the same period

Producer prices fell by 2% year-on-year in the producer price of industrial producers, a 0.7 percentage point increase from last month, and a drop of about 1.52 percentage points to the total level of producer prices. Among them, the price of extractive industry increased by 0.6%, the price of raw material industry decreased by 4.8%, and the price of processing industry dropped by 1.2%. The price of living goods rose by 1.1% over the same period last year, an increase of 0.4 percentage points from last month, affecting the total producer price level of industrial producers by about 0.28 percentage points. Among them, food prices rose 3.3%, clothing prices rose 0.9%, general commodity prices rose 0.8%, durable consumer goods prices fell 1.8%.

In the purchasing price of industrial producers, the prices of farm and sideline products increased by 4.7%, the prices of building materials and nonmetals increased by 3.7%, ferrous metal materials prices increased by 1.8%, chemical raw materials prices dropped by 7.9%, fuel power prices dropped by 4.2%, non-ferrous metal materials and wire prices dropped 1.5%.

Two, the change of industrial producer price chain ratio.

Producer prices are flat in the producer price of industrial producers. Among them, the price of extractive industry dropped by 0.5%, and the prices of raw materials industry and processing industry were all flat. The price of living goods rose by 0.5%, an increase of 0.3 percentage points from last month, affecting the total producer price of industrial producers by about 0.13 percentage points. Among them, food prices rose 1%, general commodity prices rose 0.3%, clothing and durable goods prices rose 0.1%.

In the purchasing price of industrial producers, the prices of farm and sideline products increased by 2.2%, the prices of nonferrous metals and wires increased by 0.9%, the prices of building materials and nonmetals increased by 0.4%, the prices of ferrous metal materials dropped by 1%, and fuel power prices dropped by 0.1%.
