In the afternoon of November 19th, hosted by the Keqiao District Commerce Bureau, the Nigeria market sharing conference organized by the global textile network, the online Textile City and the Yi textile exhibition was held as scheduled. This is also the first time that the Keqiao international textile capital pavilion has returned to Africa successfully for the first time.
Developing new markets in Africa
From November 4th to 7, the Keqiao District Commerce Bureau and Zhejiang China Light Textile City Group Co., Ltd. organized the first African enterprise of Keqiao enterprises, which was implemented by the global textile network, the online Textile City and the Yi textile exhibition of the textile city group. The Keqiao international textile capital exhibition was set up at the thirty-third Nigeria Lagos international trade exhibition.
The "Keqiao international textile Capital Exhibition", which is composed of 19 enterprises in Keqiao, displays the textile products of the African market, such as shirts, embroidered fabrics, special printed fabrics, TR elastic fabrics, curtain fabrics, tablecloths and other home textile fabrics. On the first day, "far seeing trade" signed a $30 thousand order at the scene. Mina textile "Rui Xi textile", "Chi Chi trade", "boat leaf textile", "Shang embroidery textile" and so on, all confirmed the order, and the embroidery and jacquard fabrics in the exhibits were favored by purchasers.
"The booth fee will only cost 2000 yuan, and the rest of the cost will be borne by the Commerce Bureau. We do not have to worry about the long application period. Thank you very much for the government's consideration for the business." Lu Fangyao, sales representative of "Sichuan Textile Technology", regrets that as a company producing shirt fabrics, this is the first time to enter Africa, and has explored the African market and opened up a new chapter in the development of enterprises.
It is understood that, in order to seize the historic opportunity of building the "one belt and one road" initiative and the development of Sino African cooperation, in response to the plan of action to accelerate the development of Zhejiang's non economic and trade cooperation, the Nigeria commercial exhibition was held in Lagos for the first time. The Business Bureau of the regional commerce bureau first tried out the service mode of "enterprise orders - government group buying - carrying bags exhibitors", and promoted the Keqiao textile products and regional brand image in a unified organization, unified exhibition and unified propaganda mode.
Recently, the District Commerce Bureau also launched a "evaluation of your mind's 2020 Keqiao region (territory) outside the key exhibition directory" activities, so that enterprises in 40 exhibitions to select 20 of the most valuable exhibition, aiming to better serve the foreign trade enterprises "going out" to enhance the actual effect of the exhibition.
Entrepreneurs share "dry goods"
"Bao textile printing and dyeing" is one of the famous suppliers of batik fabrics in Africa. "Africa has been ploughing for many years, from the beginning of the Nigeria market to the current radiation to Central Africa and East Africa, and so on, and customer agents throughout the African market." Shi Zhonghua, the company's chief executive, said that "treasure spinning and dyeing" has been focused on R & D, and this year's newly developed super imitation wax cloth is very popular in the African market. "The company has more than 50 people's design team, can produce more than 100 new flower types every day, the output was 300 million meters last year, the output value increased year by year, and the output value increased by 25% this year."
Shi Zhonghua said that local demand in Africa is mainly embroidered, jacquard and batik fabrics, which has broad market prospects, but the cost of clearing trade is high. At present, Nigeria has closed down the land access channel, and the export of enterprises can only go through the sea passage. Enterprises entering the African market suggest that we need to make an assessment and always pay attention to policy changes.
Keqiao textile fabrics are more suitable for Nigeria market. Keqiao enterprises, especially production enterprises, have sufficient strength. Expanding the volume of Keqiao textile industry to non trade volume can help promote the development of Sino African cooperation. Yu Jiatong, general manager of the company, told reporters that if Keqiao high quality enterprises want to diversify risks, they can try to set up sales outlets in Africa. But we must also see the problem of instability in Africa's exchange rate. We suggest that payment must be prudent and the payment of the bill of lading is the best.
