In order to further explore and cultivate design innovation talents with international competitive advantages in the new era, provide solid talent support for the sustainable development of Shenzhen fashion industry, assist the revival and development of Chinese clothing culture, and boost Chinese design to the world, the fourth China international fashion design innovation competition was held in Shenzhen Dalang fashion town on December 29, 2019.

It is understood that this year's China international fashion design innovation competition, with the theme of "prosperous China · era of youth", aims to show the confidence of Chinese culture and fashion, organically combine traditional culture with modern design, and build a stage for the new generation of design to show their style and talent. The competition is jointly sponsored by Shenzhen Fashion Designers Association, China (Shenzhen) International Fashion Festival Organizing Committee and China Textile and clothing education association. Since the event was launched in the second half of 2019, it has received positive feedback and participation from fashion designers, clothing enterprises and teachers and students from colleges and universities at home and abroad, and collected hundreds of entries at home and abroad. After an open, fair and impartial preliminary evaluation, a total of 32 works were selected and selected for the final.

The jury panel of this competition is composed of Liu Yang and Liu Wei, winners of China's top fashion design award, Liu Wei, Lu Bin and Yao Ziyi, winners of Shenzhen fashion design's highest honor "golden pen Award", and Zhong Jianchun, executive director of Fashion Beijing magazine. On the same day, through the fierce competition between static display and dynamic performance, one first prize, five second prize and twelve third prize were finally selected. Guo Shiying, the No.19 contestant, won the first prize of this competition by his work "track".
