With the gradual development of the "one belt and one way" initiative and the steady construction of the economic corridor between China and Pakistan, Xinjiang's strategic position as the west gate of the motherland has been constantly highlighted. However, the local weak economic structure, fragile geographical environment, sparse population, and relatively backward technology and education situation have restricted the sustainable development of the region.
At this moment, in Alar of the southern Xinjiang, a cadre of Yuanjiang from Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology to Tarim University is basing on the popularization of science and technology and the practice of school education for the well-being of the local people.
The regiment's stream of people said, "born in Jinggangshan, it is in Nan Ni Wan. Fighting tens of thousands of miles, reclamation in Tianshan. Born in the old revolutionary base area of Jiangxi, the cadre of Yuanjiang, Tarim University, is a man who runs red genes.
Gong has an indissoluble bond with the Corps. From the Nanchang uprising, from Jiangxi to Yanan and then to the great victory of the liberation of China, one of the 359 brigades of the people's army, spanning tens of thousands of miles, took root in the north and south of the Tianshan Mountains, which is the predecessor of the Xinjiang Corps.
"University is the temperament of the city. Tarim University is a regimental school. The temperament of TA TA is the style of the soldiers, the pursuit of executive power, that is, to overcome difficulties bravely and become impossible." Gong Qi, who has been teaching in Tarim University since 2018, said.
"The importance of Xinjiang's geographical position is beyond doubt, and there is also a strong foundation for textile and clothing." In the 11 years of textile education, Gong told the Chinese science journal that "Xinjiang's cotton planting area accounts for 80% of the country's total, and its surrounding areas are mostly cotton growing countries, and its output accounts for more than half of the world's total. This has given Xinjiang a superior geographical advantage in the cotton textile industry. " Gong said.
In Gong's view, the upgrading of Xinjiang's cotton textile industry is very important to the regional development of Xinjiang and the transformation of the country. This has become an important reason for him to stay at the foot of Tianshan Mountain, or even an unshakeable cause.
Waterless printing and dyeing breaking environmental barriers
When he first arrived in Xinjiang, Gong began to think about how his technology landed.
He told reporters: "the total output value of China's textile and garment industry accounts for about 10% of the total industrial output value of GDP, which can solve the direct employment of 30 million people and at the same time drive the employment of 20 million to 30 million people in related industries."
However, Xinjiang's resource endowment in the cotton textile industry has not brought the full dividends to the local economy. The cotton produced in Xinjiang can only be roughed locally, and it will exert great efforts to Sinotrans, increasing the transportation cost and giving up the part with high economic value.
"Textile is a high energy consuming industry, but Xinjiang is not short of energy. The textile and garment industry in Xinjiang subsidized the electricity price by 0.28 yuan, while the industrial electricity in the mainland needed 0.78 yuan. Why do we not make use of the energy advantages of Xinjiang to set up the site directly? " Gong said.
At the same time, Xinjiang cotton is often transported by the "cat in the palm" in the transportation process. The best quality Xinjiang cotton will be mixed with other quality cotton. Gong advocated that the source of origin should be traced. Only by making textiles directly in southern Xinjiang can we turn the advantages of raw materials into industrial advantages.
First of all, pollution and retreatment is the problem of repeated economic development in the mainland. Gong does not want it to repeat itself in Xinjiang. Before coming to Xinjiang, his research focused on the environmental protection technology of textiles. Due to the responsibility of scholars, Gong and relevant experts have fully tackled anhydrous printing and dyeing technology.
"In the printing and dyeing industry, China has achieved the first place in the world and can make a breakthrough in this technology." Years of experience in this field have made Gong Fu confident in this research. He said that anhydrous printing and dyeing is similar to dry cleaning clothes. Only a small amount of water is needed. Its main dyeing medium is environment-friendly organic solvent, which is harmless and harmless.
Next, Gong is going to carry out the demonstration project of anhydrous printing and dyeing in Xinjiang. After the technical conditions are ripe, it can be applied in a wide range.
Taking alar city of Xinjiang as an example, the output value of cotton in the city is 10 billion yuan a year. If there is no water printing and dyeing technology scheme, we can develop anhydrous printing and dyeing fabrics locally and make them into clothing products, and the output value will reach at least 300 billion yuan. Gong said.
South Xinjiang creates new business cards
As a university teacher, Gong has been exploring the tower mechanism of talents training in southern Xinjiang, that is, training a group of people on the platform of universities, encouraging talents to stay in the local area, improving the quality of education, and forming a positive cycle. "The largest supporting investment in industry should be talents. Unfortunately, we are still not doing enough in this area. " He said.
Nevertheless, Gong is still fortunate enough to get a platform for talent training to promote industrial progress and regional economic development.
In history, once a man started from textile, he realized "saving the country by industry" and "education and prosperity". Gong said that he could not conceal his admiration.
"In Nantong, Jiangsu, Zhang Jian founded the first joint-stock textile enterprise in China. Since then, he has founded many schools in Nantong, and has strengthened the infrastructure so that it is located in Nantong, Northern Jiangsu, and the economic development is no less than that of South of Jiangsu. Gong said that China's textile industry, founded by Zhang Jian, is an industry that affects and promotes each other with education.
This is Gong Gong's goal.
With the continuous development of the "one belt and one way" initiative, Gong hopes that the textile and garment Institute of Tarim University will become the center of future textile and clothing education in the "one belt and one road" country. "We hope that we can get more support from the relevant departments so that the national costumes of Xinjiang can be developed as a new business card for China to go to the world." He said.
