Lycra, a global leader in providing innovative solutions to the textile, clothing and personal care industry, will usher in the 1st anniversary anniversary of Ruyi group's independent subsidiary in January 31st.

Lycra has recently set up an advanced textile research and development center in Foshan, China, and has launched several exciting innovative solutions to provide value-added products and meet the needs of consumers for lasting comfort and performance.

The company expanded its EcoMade sustainable product portfolio and opened up new fields through the first printable technology product. In addition, a new fiber that can adapt to more body shape within a certain size has been ready for another change. The newly released products include:

LYCRA (Lycra) EcoMade fiber is the first elastic fiber in the EcoMade series, made of unused recycled ingredients and has the same properties as the original LYCRA (Lycra) fiber.
LYCRA FitSense Gamma (Lycra) is a revolutionary water-soluble dispersing liquid that can provide lightweight directional support on clothing.
LYCRA MyFit (Lycra) Gamma Fiber can make clothing that fits more body shape and provide customized experience for consumers.
LYCRA (Lycra) HyFit T859 fiber is a new formulation for personal care products, which can increase the production run time of each package, thereby reducing the number of refuelling times and reducing the use of elastic materials, while reducing transportation and warehousing costs and helping customers achieve sustainable development goals.
Recently, Lycra has launched a series of joint efforts with well-known brands and retailers, and has actively launched industry advertising marketing around the world. It has also launched a 360 degree marketing campaign to enhance the brand awareness of the Chinese market and enhance consumer preferences for LYCRA (Lycra) fiber preference.

"As a strong partner, Ruyi understands our challenges as a new business, including the impact of global economic trends on our business performance." Dave Trerotola, CEO of Lycra, said: "during this transition year, we have achieved many victories, laying a solid foundation for future growth through continuous investment in R & D."

In 2020, Lycra will make every effort to create value through strategic investment in science and technology, and take innovation as the key driving force for the company's future success.

The company will also actively explore potential synergies with major shareholders, including its spandex production capacity and fully integrated value chain.

In the future, Lycra has formulated a grand innovation plan and will launch a series of new and improved products. The company also reaffirmed its commitment to the "Planet Agenda" of sustainable development platform, from corporate responsibility, excellence manufacturing to product sustainability, to all aspects of business.

"I am very proud of the fruitful achievements of the first year." Trerotola concluded, "we are delighted to be a member of the Ruyi family and look forward to continuous support in the process of constantly changing our business and clothing and personal care industry."

At the end of January 2019, Ruyi Group acquired the clothing and advanced fabric business of Koch, a polymer and fiber supplier of the United States, from the US Industries Invista (LYCRA), including LYCRA (Lycra) fiber, COOLMAX THERMOLITE fiber, THERMOLITE THERMOLITE fiber and thermal insulation materials. After the completion of the transaction, Ruyi group set up a new company, Lycra group, which mainly produces elastic fabrics for jeans and yoga wear. (see "ornate ambition": Shandong Ruyi completed the acquisition of its apparel and advanced fabric business and established the "Lycra group"). Due to regulatory reasons, the $2 billion cross-border acquisition took 15 months from announcement to completion. Through this acquisition, Ruyi group has added about 3000 employees.
