58 Chinese Designer Brands Participate In The Four International Fashion Week

Every year and February, it is time for Chinese designers to participate in the four international fashion week to expand overseas influence and sales channels. But this year, due to the sudden outbreak of new coronavirus, many Chinese designer brands have been forced to cancel their work plans. A small number of designers have been able to hold the Fashion Week activities as planned because of their overseas studios, or their early arrival overseas.

What is particularly worth mentioning is that when the centenary French fashion Charles Jourdan was founded 100th anniversary, the specially invited Chinese designer, Wang Tao, served as his creative director. He also held the first collaboration series of the Paris fashion week.

In the designer's monthly report, we summed up the situation of Chinese designers' participation in the 2020 autumn and winter fashion week four, as well as the development of sales channels, cross-border cooperation and important awards.

Fashion Week

(1) 2020 autumn winter Paris women's wear week: Chinese designer Sun Dawei and Uma Wang participate, 5 Chinese brands are absent.

2020 autumn winter Paris women's wear week is held from February 24th to March 3rd. Chinese designer brand DAWEI (Sun Dawei) has released the fashion show in Paris women's wear week plan, and Uma Wang canceled the show to be held in Paris for static exhibition and Showrrom. 5 Chinese brands cancelled their original activities in Paris because of the outbreak. They are: MASHAMA (Masha Ma), Shiatzy Chen (Wang Chen Caixia), Jarel Zhang (Zhang Chenxuan), CALVINLUO (Luo Yucheng) and Maison Mai (Mia Mai).

(2) 2020 autumn winter Milan women's wear week: 9 Chinese designer brands participated in different ways and 4 Chinese designer brands were absent.

2020 autumn winter Milan women's wear week is held from 18 to 24 February. Chinese designer brand Annakiki (Yang Zi) has released the fashion show in Milan women's wear week. Designer brand Ricostru (Ou Minjie), SHUTING QIU (Qiu Shuting), HUI (Zhao Huizhou) and Angel Chen (Chen Anqi) cancelled the scheduled activities in Milan due to the outbreak of the epidemic.

Another 8 Chinese designer brands took part in the project "Fashion Hub Market" of the Milan women's wear week. They recorded videos in advance and introduced their brands and products to visitors. Among them, designer brand Han Wen (Wen Han) was released overseas fashion show in Milan women's clothing week because of its overseas influence.

The other 7 Chinese designer brands are Leaf Xia (Xia Yiqi), XUNRUO smoked (Chen Dan & Chen Ying), PINHUI ZHAO (Zhao Pinhui), EMMA SWEET (Tian Jingjing), ZIJUE (Wang Yuanyuan), SHENGYI LIU (Liu Shengyi), dot dot (DOT).

(3) 2020 autumn winter London dress week: 10 Chinese designer brands participated.

2020 autumn winter London women's wear week is held from February 13th to February 18th. 10 Chinese designer brands and Chinese Hongkong designers support the project "Fashion Hong Kong" to participate in this week's London women's wear week. China's famous clothing company Bosideng BOSIDENG also hosted the show.

The 10 Chinese designer brands are: Huishan Zhang (Zhang Huishan), Feng Chen Wang (Wang Fengchen), Yuhan Wang (Yuhan Wang), Yan Dengyu (Wang), Mou Tianlang (), Mou Tianlang (Mou Tianlang), Lei (Wei), Wei (Wei), Wei (Zhang Dingyun),

Among them, Feng Chen Wang was selected as the finalist of the 2020 Woolmark Prize (International Wool symbol competition), and together with 9 other designers, they published their works in London dress Zhou Lianhe, who compete for the 2020 Woolmark Prize Championship through this fashion show.

The brand Dingyun Zhang and Leeann Huang are outstanding graduates of the central Saint Martin fashion master's program (MA Fashion), and show graduation design works with 19 other students in London women's wear week. The brand Yan Dengyu is screened, and works are displayed through the ON OFF platform. (ON OFF is a design talent support project founded in 2002. The platform will select some potential designers to make joint releases in London Fashion week.

Bosideng BOSIDENG, Huishan Zhang, Feng Chen Wang, Yuhan Wang, Yan Dengyu display the works in fashion show; UNDERAGE displays the works in a static way; and the designers of Hongkong, China, support the project, "show them", and display the costumes and promote the brand under the reception and offline activities.

In addition, the Fashion Zoo from Shanghai (the fashionable circle) formally reached a cooperation agreement with the British Fashion Association (BFC) in London time on February 14, 2020 and became the official partner of the London Fashion week to host the "London Fashion week China day" (London Fashion Week China Day). The event will be launched in the first quarter of September 2021, and will display Chinese design brands through fashion shows.

(4) 2020 autumn winter New York Fashion Week: 37 Chinese designer brands participated

According to the official schedule released by the American Fashion Designers Association CFDA and entertainment agency IMG, 34 Chinese designer brands participated in the fashion week in New York.

Business cooperation

(1) designer Chen Anqi and Shangguan zhe co operated with Adidas Originals to launch joint products.

The gift box includes clothing, bags, cards and so on. (1) Chinese designer Yang Guidong and Wang Yuhan were selected for the LVMH youth Designer Award semi final.

Luxury group LVMH announced the list of 20 designer brands who were selected for the seventh LVMH Prize youth designer Grand Prix. Wang Yuhan and Yang Guidong, the designers from China, were successfully selected.
