Recently, India has also taken a number of emergency measures in response to public health emergencies. However, it has never occurred to me that many industries in India have also been affected by the supply of raw materials from many industries, which depend on the supply of overseas markets. Take the textile industry as an example. According to a recent report by media in March 10th, the India Garment Manufacturers Association (CMAI) said in a news statement that due to the delayed resumption of Chinese enterprises, it is expected to have an impact on the India textile and garment industry, which relies on the supply of raw materials in China.

According to the report, the amount of synthetic silk purchased from China in is as high as 460 million US dollars (equivalent to 31.96 yuan), and imported accessories worth more than 140 million US dollars including buttons, zippers, hangers and needles, and synthetic textiles valued at 360 million US dollars (equivalent to RMB 25 yuan). It is reported that after finding that the scale of imports before China's textile manufacturers could not be smoothly restored, India found that its own supply base could not meet the needs of so many raw materials.

Previously, garment manufacturers in India had thought about finding alternatives for themselves, including local purchases, or expanding imports from Vietnam and other places. However, these manufacturers soon discovered that the above practice will undoubtedly increase the cost of finished products by 3-5%. In addition, suppliers may not be able to compare with Chinese suppliers in terms of delivery time, quality and cost due to a short sale.

However, even though worried about the development of its own textile industry, India has made an unexpected move. According to reports, on March 4th, India authorities issued a notice announcing the final anti-dumping decision on Nylon Multi Filament Yarn from China, Korea and Thailand, and will charge extra fees for products from these countries.

In addition, it is worth mentioning that in addition to the export of textile products to India market, uphold the way you come to me, our country has also patronized India's cotton products. However, it is reported that the first largest exporter of cotton in India has announced that it will suspend exports of cotton to China and shift to export markets such as Vietnam and Bangladesh. Subsequently, after the Chinese enterprises proposed to buy 800 thousand bales of cotton, India only opened its cotton exports to China again.

In recent times, Kampuchea's textile industry has also been in a predicament just like India. However, in contrast with India's efforts to gain benefits for its own sake, Kampuchea still chooses to continue to cooperate with China. After receiving the help signal from Kampuchea, China shipped 63 boxes of new Haifeng liner (SITC) loaded with textile raw materials to Kampuchea on March 9th.
