CPI Rose 1-2 In 2020, 5.3% And Clothing Rose 0.5%

The State Council held a press conference on March 16th to introduce the economic situation in 1-2. According to reports, 1-2 months, the national consumer prices rose 5.3% over the same period last year. After deducting food and energy prices, the core CPI rose by 1.3%.

According to the classification, the prices of food, tobacco and alcohol rose by 15.6% compared with the same period last year, the clothing increased by 0.5%, living increased by 0.4%, daily necessities and services increased by 0.1%, traffic and communications decreased by 0.4%, educational culture and entertainment increased by 1.6%, medical care increased by 2.2%, and other goods and services increased by 4.6%.

In the price of food, tobacco and wine, grain prices rose by 0.6%, fresh vegetables increased by 13.8%, pork rose by 125.6%, and fresh fruits dropped by 5.3%.
