"Entity list" is a "blacklist" used by the U.S. Department of Commerce to restrict exports to foreign entities.

Entity list is a tool used by BIS to restrict the export, re export and (at home) transfer the goods controlled by the export administration regulations (ear) to individuals (individuals, organizations, companies) that reasonably believe to involve or constitute significant risks, and engage in activities that violate the national security or foreign policy interests of the United States. Additional license requirements apply to exports, re exports, and (domestic) transfers of ear bound projects to listed entities, and the availability of most license exceptions is limited.

Among the 11 companies that have been added to the US entity list, the U.S. Department of Commerce "pointed out" that nine Chinese enterprises were involved in "forced labor" against ethnic minorities in Xinjiang, and two Chinese enterprises were "suspected" of helping to collect the genes of ethnic minority groups for DNA genetic analysis, and were listed in the "entity list".

The specific list of Chinese enterprises listed by the U.S. Department of Commerce for "forced labor" is as follows: Changji Yida Textile Co., Ltd., Hefei baolongda Information Technology Co., Ltd., Hefei Meiling Co., Ltd., Hetian Haolin Hair Accessories Co., Ltd., Hetian Taida Clothing Co., Ltd., Jinchuang group, Nanchang o-film Co., Ltd Tech), Nanjing synergy Textiles Co. Ltd. and Tanyuan Technology Co. Ltd.

The two Chinese enterprises suspected of assisting in the collection of genes of ethnic minorities for DNA genetic analysis include Xinjiang Silk Road Huada Gene Technology Co., Ltd. and Beijing Liuhe Huada Gene Technology Co., Ltd.

On May 22, ASU Huafu color textile Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Aksu Huafu") was listed in the entity list by the U.S. Department of Commerce on May 22, 2020.
