13% Decrease In EU Clothing Imports From January To April

In April, the impact of the epidemic situation on imports of clothing in other regions of the European Union was significantly greater than that in other regions.
 
In April, EU clothing imports began to decline sharply, the decline in may further expanded, and it is expected to gradually stabilize in June. Affected by the blockade of the epidemic situation, the import volume of EU clothing decreased by 37% and 40% in April.
 
Compared with the same period in April this year, the import volume of clothing from EU decreased by 13%. In terms of U.S. dollars, the unit price of EU clothing import fell by nearly 5% year-on-year in April, the import volume to China decreased by nearly 40% and the import to other regions decreased by 36%.
 
In April, China's clothing unit prices rose 32% in Euro terms, while those in other countries fell 9%.
