US Cotton Production Report: US Cotton Harvest Progress Is 11%, Excellent Rate Is 45%

The U.S. cotton production report released by the U.S. Department of agriculture on September 21 showed that cotton boll opening progress was 57% in the week ending September 20, 47% in the previous week, 61% in the same period last year, and 55% in five years. The harvest progress of American cotton was 11%, 6% in the previous week, 10% in the same period last year, and 10% in five years. The excellent and good rate of American cotton was 45%, 45% in the previous week and 39% in the same period last year.
