US $0.75-0.7 billion was imported from the United States and the United States was not involved in any apparel imports from the United States. From January to August, the United States imported more than 450 million US dollars of clothing to Haiti, of which only 23% contained American yarn or fabric.

In addition, the United States imports 2.106 billion US dollars of clothing, all of which are duty-free. Most of them use Chinese fabrics, equivalent to 6 million bales of cotton. Foreign analysis agencies predict that the United States will import more than 5.5 billion U.S. cloth in 2020, exceeding the level before the epidemic, and China's share will account for a quarter.
