In The First 10 Months, China Was The Largest Import Market For Vietnam'S Textile And Garment Raw Materials

Vietnam's customs Daily reported on November 20 that Vietnam's total imports had reached US $210.3 billion by the end of October, a slight increase of 0.3%, equivalent to a net increase of US $661 million. In the first 10 months, the import volume of commodities was larger: raw materials for the production of textiles, clothing and shoes.

The import volume of textile and clothing raw materials (including cotton, textile fiber and yarn, various kinds of cloth, and auxiliary materials for textile, clothing, leather and footwear) reached US $15.46 billion, down 13.5% year-on-year, with a net decrease of US $2.7 billion. China is still the largest import market, accounting for 50% of the total imports, despite an 8% decline.
