Vietnam's textile and garment exports are expected to reach 35 billion US dollars in 2020, 3 billion US dollars less than that in 2019, equivalent to a 7% year-on-year decrease, the voice of Vietnam Electronic News reported on December 2. Vietnam Textile Association predicts that Vietnam's textile and garment export will reach 37-38 billion US dollars in 2021, but it can only be realized on the basis of the global epidemic situation being controlled in the first quarter of 2021. In addition, the evfta, RCEP and other free trade agreements signed by Vietnam will also become the driving force for Vietnam to solve the shortage of raw and auxiliary materials in textile and garment industry.
