At the end of January this year, Qiming venture capital announced that the sixth phase of RMB fund raising was officially closed, and the fund scale reached 2.852 billion yuan. Together with the seventh phase of US dollar fund raised in September 2020, the total scale of funds managed by Qiming venture capital will reach 5.9 billion US dollars.

It is not surprising that large PE Institutions and investment institutions with full stage positioning have raised 10 billion funds. According to the traditional investment rounds, the main investment stage of Qiming venture capital is round C and before, and mainly round a and B.

"The science and technology innovation attribute of the new RMB fund will be more obvious." In an interview with reporters after the fund raising was completed, Kuang Ziping said that he would pay more attention to investment opportunities in the subdivided fields of semiconductors, enterprise services and new drug research and development, and move forward the investment stage in some popular areas.

On the market outlook for the new year, Kuang Ziping said that under the expectation that the global epidemic situation can be better controlled, the global economy will usher in a recovery dividend, and the market's investment enthusiasm will not be reduced.

Regarding the investment progress of Qiming venture capital and the industry, Kuang Ziping said, "it should be relatively healthy to maintain the investment progress in 2020. If we further increase the speed, we may be a little worried."

Kuang Ziping has led the Qiming venture capital team to invest in China for 15 years. Qiming venture capital is one of the first dual currency fund management teams in China, and the "raising, investment, management and withdrawal" of RMB funds has gone through a full decade.
