Fuzhou, March 20 (Longmin, Zheng jiangluo) the first China cross border e-commerce fair, which lasted three days, ended at sunset. According to the organizing committee, according to incomplete statistics, 62000 professional merchants from the cross-border e-commerce field attended the exhibition, with a total of intention and transaction amount of more than 3.5 billion US dollars.

The exhibition was sponsored by the Foreign Trade Development Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce, Fujian import and Export Chamber of Commerce and Fujian Huiyuan International Exhibition Co., Ltd. with an exhibition scale of 72000 square meters, it attracted 2363 enterprises from 22 provinces and cities in China.

Ruan Weixing, head of the organizing committee, said that in the era of rapid development of digital economy and normalization of prevention and control of new crown pneumonia, the exhibition helped China's foreign trade, e-commerce and Exhibition circles to work together to solve the industry's pain points. In the future, China's cross-border e-commerce Fair will be taken as the breakthrough point, and the construction and operation of the cross-border e-commerce ecosystem will be carried out continuously to make the greatest efforts for the development of China's cross-border e-commerce industry.

In recent years, cross-border e-commerce has become a new engine for Fujian's foreign trade innovation and development, transformation and upgrading. Last year, Fujian achieved 624.2 billion yuan of online retail sales, an increase of 24.7% year-on-year. At present, Fujian has issued a series of policies and measures to support the development of cross-border e-commerce. Six cities, including Fuzhou and Xiamen, have been approved to set up comprehensive test zones for cross-border e-commerce. The total area of overseas warehouses in Fujian province exceeds one million square meters. The number of cross-border e-commerce sellers in Fujian Province is the fourth in China. 3C products, shoes, clothing, bags, furniture and other commodities have become the best-selling categories in the international market.

Liang Yong, deputy director of Fuzhou Area Management Committee of China (Fujian) pilot Free Trade Zone, said that cross border e-commerce is a characteristic industry in Fuzhou, and Fuzhou area has good foundation and strong resilience in cross-border e-commerce. With the help of this exhibition, Fuzhou area will explore the construction of a new cross-border e-commerce core platform, promote the benign development, upgrading development and linkage development of the industry, so as to promote the development of traditional foreign trade and cross-border e-commerce in the post epidemic era.
