The Swiss consumer price index (CPI) rose 0.2% to 101.7 points in January 2022 (December 2020 = 100) compared with the previous month. Compared with the same period last year, the inflation rate was 1.6%. The main reason for the rise in CPI was the rise in the prices of natural gas, hotel accommodation and second-hand cars. At the same time, private transport rental and Clothing and footwear prices are down
