Tanzanian mainstream media "Guardian" reported on June 23 that the governor of Tanzania's new yangga Province, mujima, announced at a public meeting on June 20 that in order to increase the income of cotton farmers, the Hassan government has greatly increased the guiding price of cotton, from 1560 US dollars per kilogram to 1900-2000 dollars per kilogram. She said that the current cotton price is very friendly, and called on cotton farmers in the region to expand cotton planting, speed up the pace of planting, and increase income. Participants expressed appreciation for the new cotton guidance price and hoped that the government would increase the number of agricultural experts and teach better farming methods to all farmers.
