2023 China (Anqing Wangjiang) Modern Textile And Garment Industry Exhibition Opens

On the morning of March 22, 2023 China (Anqing Wangjiang) Modern Textile and Garment Industry Exhibition was opened in Anqing Convention and Exhibition Center under the guidance of China Textile Industry Federation, sponsored by Anhui Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology, Anqing Municipal People's Government, and undertaken by Wangjiang County People's Government.

Xia Lingmin congratulated the successful holding of the exhibition in his speech. He said that the textile and clothing industry is one of the five leading industries in the world in China and plays an important supporting role in local economic development. The textile and garment industry of Wangjiang County has begun to have an influence in processing and manufacturing. "Making clothes, going to Wangjiang" has become a famous brand and slogan of garment production and processing in East China. It is hoped that Wangjiang can make full use of the achievements of this exhibition and strive to build a national textile and clothing production base. It is also hoped that the industry will quickly move towards high-end, intelligent and green, making new and greater contributions to the construction of a modern textile and clothing industrial system.

Wangjiang County is a new textile base county in China and the first textile and clothing county in Anhui. There are more than 1000 textile and clothing enterprises, more than 2500 e-commerce entities and more than 100000 industrial employees. The theme of this exhibition is "fashion and future", with 139 enterprises participating in the exhibition.

At the opening ceremony, contracts were also signed. A total of 26 projects worth more than 100 million yuan were signed in the city, with a total investment of 11.636 billion yuan, including 16 projects signed in Wangjiang County, with a total investment of 6.13 billion yuan. The exhibition will last until the 23rd, with the main activities including the keynote speech of the Yangtze River Delta Textile Industry Integration Development Summit, the high-end dialogue of the Yangtze River Delta Textile Industry Integration Development Summit, the famous garment enterprises looking at Wangjiang, the release of the first China Wangjiang Fashion Children's Wear Design Competition and Wangjiang Children's Wear Show, fashion show, etc.
