Guli Turhun said on Sunday.

Akesu textile industrial city (Development Zone) was established in October 2010. In 2013, the autonomous region designated the Akesu textile industrial city (Development Zone) as the first city of four prefectures in the southern Xinjiang of "three cities, seven gardens and one center". The Akesu textile industrial city (Development Zone) is an autonomous development zone centered on the development of the textile and garment industry. It is a demonstration base to undertake the transfer of the Eastern Textile and garment industry to the West. It is also an important textile production and processing outlet for the western part of the country in Central Asia, South Asia and even Europe. It is the only industrial city named after the textile industry in China. It has been listed as the national textile industry transfer demonstration park and one of the 10 major industrial parks in China.

Up to now, a total of 100 textile and garment enterprises have been admitted, attracting 40 thousand industrial workers, including 24 thousand workers in the textile and garment industry. This year, the Akesu textile industrial city (Development Zone) plans to add 1 million spindles, 1000 looms and 30 million home textiles and garments, 7000 jobs, and 10 thousand rural poor families to get rid of their jobs.
