Promote innovation policy to accelerate landing

The innovation ability of China's manufacturing industry is significantly enhanced. The white paper on global manufacturing innovation index released during the world manufacturing conference in 2019 showed that China ranked first in the global manufacturing innovation index 15 in 2019. In the patent application of equipment manufacturing industry, China has entered a period of rapid growth since 2005, and its application volume has maintained a high growth rate for 14 years, and has shown a high level of innovation in the computer equipment manufacturing industry and the electric power manufacturing industry.

Reporters learned from the meeting that the number of contracted projects will exceed 700 billion this year, of which manufacturing accounts for more than 80%.

It is noteworthy that more support for the new development of manufacturing industry is expected to accelerate the landing. Reporters learned from several channels that the Ministry of industry and Commerce will speed up the construction of innovation centers in the fields of integrated circuits, information optoelectronics, smart sensors and other fields, and promote the commercialization and industrialization of innovation. We should strengthen the construction of industrial basic capabilities, build a R & D platform for common technology, accelerate the construction of new infrastructure such as 5G, and upgrade the modernization level of the industrial chain. At the same time, we should further strengthen the status of the main body of enterprise technology innovation, and improve the integration and innovation mechanism of demand oriented, enterprise as the main body, and promote the cooperative development of large and medium and small enterprises.

Wei Jianguo, deputy director of the Strategic Advisory Committee of the national manufacturing power, believes that to move towards a manufacturing powerhouse, China must take three steps: first step is to enhance industrial technology capability and upgrade the industrial chain level; second steps should rely on urban agglomeration construction to speed up the development and layout of high-end manufacturing industry; third steps should bring into play the advantages of existing science and technology innovation, combine advanced technology such as big data and cloud computing with the general direction of manufacturing power, and build the manufacturing industry, industrial chain, supply chain and value chain of digital economy.

Chen Xuedong, academician of the Chinese Academy of engineering, believes that we need to make concerted efforts from three aspects: innovation policy environment, R & D institution building and excellent personnel training, so that enterprises can truly become the main body of technological innovation and promote the deep integration of technology and economy.
