The 10th "provincial governor Cup" industrial design competition is hosted by the Department of industry and information technology of Guangdong Province, and jointly organized by Guangdong Xinhua film and Television Culture Communication Co., Ltd., Guangdong clothing and apparel industry association and Guangdong clothing designer association. With the theme of "design enabling industry · innovation changing life", the competition closely grasps the construction of "one belt and one road" and Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Bay area With the historical opportunity of building a well-off society in an all-round way, focusing on the high-quality development needs of the textile and clothing industry in our province, we should vigorously enhance the innovation ability of textile and clothing design, meet the people's increasingly healthy pursuit of a better life, and further play the leading role of textile and clothing design innovation in cultivating and developing advanced manufacturing industry clusters, and provide strong support for the construction of a strong textile and clothing province.

Since its launch, the competition has attracted the attention and active participation of the majority of peers. Since its preparation, 261 enterprises and designers have applied for the competition, and 2381 pieces / set of works have been received, including 96 groups of 1119 pieces / set of product design group and 165 groups of 1262 pieces / set of concept design group. There are 134 pieces of works that have entered the competition area.
