On the afternoon of March 31, Shuyang County successfully held the "textile industry chain investment environment explanation meeting". Shuyang is located in the north of Jiangsu Province. It is named after the ancient administrative office because it is located in the sun of Shuhe river. It is known as the hometown of Yu Ji and the hometown of flowers and trees. It covers an area of 2298 square kilometers, and governs 30 towns (streets) and 1 national economic development zone. In 2020, the GDP of the whole county will exceed the 100 billion mark for the first time, reaching 101.12 billion yuan, ranking 34th among the top 100 economic counties in China and the first place in 22 counties and cities in Northern Jiangsu Province; industrial invoice sales (94.29 billion yuan), industrial power consumption (4.08 billion KWH) and industrial tax revenue (2.44 billion yuan) rank third, second and first respectively in Northern Jiangsu.

Shuyang economic and Technological Development Zone is the only national development zone located in county-level city among the five cities in Northern Jiangsu Province. Shuyang economic and Technological Development Zone was founded in 2001 and approved as a provincial Development Zone in 2006. In November 2013, it was upgraded to a national level with an area of 45 square kilometers. Now it has gathered nearly 100 enterprises with an invoice sales of more than 100 million yuan. Tianneng group has entered the "10 billion yuan club". Textile and clothing, equipment manufacturing, electronic communication, health care and other industries have become large-scale, and have been awarded the "national intellectual property pilot park" It has been approved as a provincial characteristic industrial park such as new energy, textile fiber new materials, equipment manufacturing and other provincial characteristic industrial parks, ranking 116 out of 219 national development zones in China.

Shi Jingfeng said at the meeting that in recent years, Shuyang's economic and social development has always maintained a sustained, healthy and rapid development trend, and has always adhered to the strategic decision of "strengthening the county by industry and invigorating the county by industry". Especially in the textile industry, Shuyang County adheres to the principle of gathering, promoting and prospering businesses by industry, and strives to cultivate a 100 billion level industrial cluster that can not be dismantled, moved or crushed.

In the face of the new development stage, Shuyang Economic Development Zone will deeply implement the new development concept and integrate into the new development pattern. Introducing the development of textile industry, Wei Wei said that at present, the county has 558 textile enterprises of various types, more than 180 enterprises above the designated size, 25 national high-tech enterprises, 5 famous brand products of Jiangsu Province, 12 R & D institutions at the provincial level, and 8 intelligent workshops above the municipal level. It gathers well-known enterprises such as Tongkun group, xindongxu textile, song and song intelligent technology, hengneng home textile, Hongliu textile and so on. Relying on the three major plates of coated yarn, characteristic home textile and intelligent knitting, it will step into the whole industry chain era of "mechanical equipment spinning texturing weaving printing and dyeing finished products", and build the first intelligent Knitting Industrial Park, national high-quality coated yarn industrial base and textile industry Invoice sales have increased by more than 30% for three consecutive years, and the total volume has always been in the forefront of Northern Jiangsu Province. It has become the youngest industrial cluster in Jiangsu Province, creating a remarkable "Shuyang speed".

At present, Shuyang has realized the transformation and upgrading from follow-up development to leading development, and has successively won the "outstanding contribution award of national textile industry restructuring", "national textile industry transfer pilot park", "national textile industry transfer demonstration park", "advanced unit of textile industry cluster promotion in Jiangsu Province", "contribution award of ten billion famous towns of Jiangsu textile and garment", "national textile industry transfer demonstration park" Shuyang textile has formed a regional brand with distinctive characteristics, such as "home smart textile park pilot", "national textile industry high quality development demonstration area". In particular, in December last year, Tongkun group, one of China's top 500 private enterprises and the world's largest filament output, signed a contract with Shuyang to invest 15 billion yuan in the construction of an annual output of 2.4 million tons of filament, 900000 tons of texturing, 10000 sets of looms, supporting dyeing and finishing and cogeneration projects. The project will lead Shuyang textile industry from "Plateau" to "peak".
