Consumer Experience International Design Week

Beijing International Design Week held "concept practice, integrity, innovation - Invitation Exhibition of national image art design achievements" held in China century altar Art Museum attracted many audiences, among which the Winter Olympic element design was attractive.

The main activity of 2021 Beijing international design week, which lasted for 15 days, came to an end. There are 3 main venues, 30 sub venues and 32 design sites all over Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei. A total of 716 activities including exhibitions, forums, workshops, fairs and consumption experience were held. The number of visitors participating in online and offline activities reached 76.6 million, including 3.12 million offline visitors. The total number of online hits of relevant information of Beijing International Design Week exceeded 100 million times, and the cumulative reading amount of microblog topics was nearly 100 million.

This year, for the first time, design week takes "brand power" as the focus. It outlines the development path of Chinese brands through forums, exhibitions and other activities, sorts out the innovation mode of Chinese brands, and discusses the innovation direction of Chinese brands. This proposition will also become the long-term focus of design week. Focus on six key words: paying homage to the centenary of the Communist Party of China, construction of consumption center city, carbon neutralization, urban renewal, Zhangjiawan Design Town, and international cooperation. Among them, "concept practice, integrity and innovation - Invitation Exhibition of national image art design achievements" received more than 5000 visitors every day during the National Day holiday, and some schools designated it as a must see Exhibition on holidays. The Organizing Committee of design week and Helsinki, the host city, also jointly launched the "carbon neutral 2060 design proposal" and the "carbon neutral design guidelines" to urge designers to learn the concept and method of sustainable design and contribute to the global response to climate change as the connector of nature and society, the communicator of industry and consumption, and the creator of culture and spirit. This is the world's first self regulatory code for designers to consciously reduce carbon from the source of design.

From the fashion week, Design Expo and other early activities launched during the Mid Autumn Festival, to the design and consumption guidance of major business districts during the National Day holiday, the design week has made a lot of efforts in stimulating consumption. Among them, the "design and consumption new scene 100" consumption experience activity jointly launched by the design week from September 15 to October 15, together with time out and voyage new travel, selected and launched a total of 100 new urban design and consumption spaces in four categories (residential, catering, fashion, culture and art, and Commercial comprehensive) in Beijing, attracting 36000 brand products. According to incomplete statistics, as of yesterday, the event has driven consumption of 620 million yuan, and it is expected that by the end of the event on October 15, consumption will exceed 1 billion yuan.
