US Cotton Export Weekly: Contract Signing Reappears Net Negative; China Cancels Contracts In Large Quantity

According to the report of the US Department of Agriculture, the net contracting volume of American upland cotton in 2022/23 will be - 19900 tons from December 9-15, 2022, and the new contracting volume will mainly come from Vietnam, Pakistan, Japan and Indonesia. China canceled 32700 tons.

The contracted net export volume of American upland cotton in 2023/24 is 227 tons, and the buyers are Bangladesh and Mexico.

The United States will ship 25000 tons of upland cotton in 2022/23, mainly to China (6781 tons), Mexico, Guatemala and Bangladesh.

The net contracted volume of American Pima cotton in 2022/23 is 340 tons, and the buyers are Vietnam, Thailand, China (23 tons) and Japan.

The export shipment volume of American Pima cotton in 2022/23 is 1837 tons, mainly to India, Peru, China (227 tons), Egypt and Vietnam.
