On April 23, the Frankfurt Industrial Textiles and Nonwovens Exhibition (Techtextil 24) opened at the Frankfurt Exhibition Center in Germany. Four years later, the Textile Industry Branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the China Industrial Textile Industry Association organized more than 100 enterprises to appear at the fair again. Techtextil 24 will last for 4 days, and Texprocess 24 will be held in the same place at the same time. Xu Yingxin, Li Lingshen, Yan Yan, Vice President of China Textile Industry Federation, Li Guimei, President of China Industrial Textile Industry Association, and from Hangzhou Luxian, Sichuan Huanlong, Tiandingfeng, Zhejiang Huaji, Shandong Taipeng, Jiangsu Hengsheng, Linyi Aobo, Shandong Qianghua, Shijiazhuang Textile Machinery, Shanghai Qianfeng, Shanghai Mingtian, Shanghai Lanmin Representatives of Jiangsu Baode and other units visited the exhibition and visited relevant well-known enterprises at home and abroad.

Techtextil 24, sponsored by Messe Frankfurt, Germany, is one of the world's large-scale and high-level industrial textiles and nonwovens exhibitions, held every two years. Techtextil 24 exhibits cover technologies and processes, fibers and yarns, woven fabrics, mesh fabrics, knitted fabrics, knitted fabrics, non-woven fabrics, coated textiles, composite materials, bonding technology, functional textiles, etc., which intensively display the latest technologies, application achievements and future development trends of current industrial textiles and non-woven fabrics. Techtextil and Texprocess 24 brought together 1700 exhibitors from 53 countries and regions, including 204 Chinese exhibitors, covering raw materials, equipment and accessories, various industrial textiles, nonwovens and their products.

Detlef Braun, a member of the Executive Board of Messe Frankfurt, said in his speech that Frankfurt has once again become the center of textile and technological innovation. These innovations are usually presented to the public for the first time at the Techtextil and Texprocess exhibitions, and become an important indicator and driving force for the future development of the industry. At the 20th anniversary of Techtextil, the scale of the exhibition reached a record high, showing a good development trend with Texprocess.

This year's Techtextil Innovation Award includes nine projects to recognize their pioneering research in new products, new technologies and new processes. The award-winning projects include: the separation and recycling of thermoplastic fiber reinforced composites on the aircraft of the Belgian Textile Research Center (Centexbel), the roof intelligent textile reinforcement and waterproofing system of the Portuguese Textile and Clothing Technology Center (CITEVE), the new self cooling textile coating of the German Denkendorf Textile and Fiber Research Institute (DITF) to cope with the impact of climate change, Germany Heraeus Precious Metals' new textile antibacterial technology, Sweden LunaMicro's clothing intelligent humidity management technology, and the new technology of using carbon to manufacture concrete prefabricated components jointly developed by the Institute of Textile Machinery and High Performance Materials Technology (ITM) and the Institute of Concrete Structure (IMB) of Dresden University of Technology, The leather substitute made of hemp waste by German Revoltech, the new process of binding fiber into three-dimensional shape in a more sustainable way by German Norafin Industries, and the recyclable heat insulation textile made of bio based aerogel fiber jointly developed by German start-up SA Dynamics and its partners. These innovative results show that textile solutions are an important driving force for the further development of many industries such as aviation, automobile, medicine and construction. The exhibition also set up a special exhibition area for these award-winning products for the audience to understand in detail.

The exhibition also provided opportunities for all exhibitors and visitors to deeply understand the latest development of the industry through rich and colorful group discussions, forums and other activities. The themes include innovative materials and applications, sustainable and recycled materials and technologies (recyclability, traceability, carbon neutrality, etc.), bio based functional materials, digital and production technologies Intelligent textiles, etc. In the opening activity of the first day of the exhibition, five experts discussed the application of artificial intelligence in textile production and processing, the re conception of textile recycling solutions by artificial intelligence, and the new opportunities brought by artificial intelligence for the textile industry, under the title of "From textile recycling to garment processing - the role of artificial intelligence".

During the exhibition, the delegation visited the booths of famous enterprises at home and abroad, such as Fibertex Nonwovens, TWE, Schlatter, Smartpolymer, Shanghai Jingfa, Shenda Kebao, Donglun Technology, Yantai Taihe, Shaanxi Yuanfeng, Beijing Jinglan, Zhejiang Huaji, Shandong Taipeng, Zhejiang Wangjin, Zhejiang Hailide, Zhongfang Green Fiber, Zhejiang Guxiandao, Suzhou Naide, etc, And communicate.

After observing the exhibition, Li Lingshen said that Techtextil 24 has collected the latest technological achievements and innovative ideas of the global industrial textile and nonwoven industry, so that the industry can understand the current market trend and future development direction closely, and can also get inspiration from the innovative research of international peers.
