Sampling Survey Of Textile And Clothing Terminal Consumption Seeking New Growth Points In Adversity
At present, it is in the era of great change, which has brought considerable impact to many industries, and the end consumer market of textiles and clothing is no exception. The new coronal epidemic, a sudden storm, has profoundly changed the global economic pattern, and has had a great impact on people's daily life and consumption habits. Faced with the uncertainty of the external environment, China takes the new development pattern of "double circulation" as the key, actively explores the potential of domestic demand, and strives to find new growth points in adversity.
In this context, the Shanghai Office of the China Textile Industry Federation, together with the Shanghai Textile Business Association and Donghua University, launched an in-depth investigation on the end consumption of textiles and clothing. The purpose of this survey is to clearly feel the actual demand and consumption trend of China's textile and clothing market, especially the new changes in consumer spending power and habits under the normalization of the epidemic situation, so as to provide scientific data support and forward-looking forecast for the future development of the industry.
The survey work is carefully arranged and divided into two parts: first, through field visits, go deep into major business circles and wholesale markets in Shanghai to directly observe and record the customer flow, sales status and business strategy adjustment of stores. This link basically covers the major shopping malls in Shanghai's major business districts, so it is representative.
The survey results show that although the national level area has greatly promoted the growth of domestic demand, the final consumption market of textiles and clothing still faces great challenges, showing a downward trend as a whole. Physical stores generally face the dilemma of reduced customer flow and declining sales, and the traditional business model is facing a severe test. However, in the midst of challenges, there are also opportunities. Changes in consumer spending habits are driving the market to develop in a more diversified, personalized and quality direction. The rise of new consumption modes such as online shopping and live streaming brings new growth points to the industry; At the same time, consumers' growing demand for healthy, environmentally friendly and sustainable textiles and clothing also points out the direction for the transformation and upgrading of the industry.
Facing the future, the textile and clothing industry needs to keep pace with the times, actively embrace change, accelerate the pace of digital transformation, improve product design and innovation capabilities, to meet the growing diversified needs of consumers. At the same time, strengthen industry self-discipline, promote green production, build a sustainable industrial ecology, and jointly meet a better market prospect.
