Zhang Jian Cup International Household Textile Product Design Competition Started

On the 19th, the review of Zhang Jian Cup · 2024 China International Home Textile Product Design Competition was launched.

This competition received 253 entries from individuals at home and abroad. Among them, there are 109 entries from 22 domestic universities; There are 132 international entries from 24 countries and regions, including the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and the United States.

Some of the entries are also integrated into intangible cultural heritage. Liangshan Yi embroidery, blue printed calico, tie dye and other intangible cultural heritage works have emerged, and traditional patterns such as cranes, koi, Kunpeng, etc. have been innovated. Traditional elements such as Beijing Opera, Han Dynasty stone reliefs, etc. have been integrated, and natural materials such as Han hemp, silk, etc. have been combined. New design concepts have been introduced to constantly promote the rejuvenation of China's excellent traditional culture.

Zhang Jian Cup · China International Household Textile Product Design Competition was founded in 2006 and has been successfully held for 18 times. After more than ten years of continuous development, the competition has become a window for home textile brand culture promotion, a platform for designers to exchange, and an authoritative, professional and influential home textile product design competition in China.
