Entry Expo

Zhai Jingli, vice president of APP (China) of Golden Light Group, said that for seven years, APP of Golden Light Group has been on schedule to "enter the Expo".    The holding of the Expo provides a platform for Chinese enterprises, including APP of Jinguang Group, to show themselves and connect with international resources.

   Established in Thailand in 1921 and entering China in 1979, Chia Tai Group, an old Chinese business enterprise with a history of more than 100 years, is the first foreign-funded enterprise to enter the mainland of China after the reform and opening up, and has established more than 600 enterprises in China.

   Philippines Morninglight Co., Ltd. is the founder of the "Shanghaojia" brand known to Chinese consumers. From a small family workshop started in Manila, Philippines, in 1946, it expanded to a limited company in 1966, and then invested and set up factories in China in 1993, the brand of "Shanghaojia" became more and more popular. Shi Xueli, the chairman of Shanghaojia (China) Co., Ltd., is a third-generation Chinese born and raised in the Philippines. Under his leadership, elements such as the Philippine Chinatown and "Philippines China Three Treasures" were "moved" to the booth of the Expo. In his view, the participation in the Expo strengthened Shanghaojia's confidence in taking root in China.

   "Fast way" to integrate into China

   From the "global exhibition" to the "world platform", we have entered the expo circle to attract global Chinese enterprises. The deep participation of Chinese enterprises in the Expo has also narrowed the distance between China and the country where they live. Taking the opportunity of participating in the Expo, Chinese enterprises accelerated their integration into the Chinese market and shared Chinese opportunities.

   Golden Light Group was founded in 1938 by Huang Yichong, a famous Chinese in Indonesia. Its pulp and paper group APP entered China as early as 1992. Today, APP products and businesses are all over the world.

   "The Expo will not only help Indonesian enterprises better integrate into the Chinese market, but also be an indispensable" fast road "to the Chinese market." Zhai Jingli said that the Expo is a stage to display products and technologies, and an important window to understand China's investment policies and look for cooperation opportunities. In the past six years, APP has received more than 700 million US dollars of intended orders at the Expo, which fully demonstrates the powerful power of the Expo's international procurement function.

   "There is a saying in China, 'The rising tide makes the ship soar.'" In Xie Yi's opinion, the spillover effect of the Expo continues to be released, and Chia Tai Group has achieved very good development performance in China. Agriculture, animal husbandry, food, commercial retail, pharmaceuticals, real estate, finance and other businesses have made great progress, with investment areas covering all provinces.

   In addition to helping their own enterprises seize the opportunity to enter the Expo, Chinese enterprises are also actively helping domestic enterprises to explore the Chinese market. At the 5th International Expo, Shi Xueli took more time to "speak for" Philippine food.

   The Philippines is known as the "fruit bowl of the Pacific Ocean". Bananas, mangoes, papayas and other rich tropical fruits sell well all over the world. Shi Xueli said: "China's huge market and potential are very attractive to Filipino enterprises. With resource sharing and market connectivity, the Chinese market is the world's market, shared market and everyone's market. The comprehensive deepening of reform and expansion of opening up advocated by China will create unlimited business opportunities for the development of Filipino enterprises."

   "Bridger" connecting the world

   Over the past seven years, Chinese enterprises and the Expo have jointly written a new chapter of open cooperation and shared the future. Relying on the spillover effect of the Expo, Chinese enterprises have quickly moved to all parts of the world, building bridges to build an open world economy.

   What Shi Xueli never forgets is that Shanghaojia ran into a government delegation led by the Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan at the first Expo. After the contact, Shanghaojia built a factory in Uzbekistan and officially put the project into production. He said bluntly: "Such an opportunity is hard to come by, and this is the surprise brought to us by the Expo."

   From an enterprise producing snack food to a diversified multinational food group, Shanghaojia is now actively expanding more overseas markets, establishing product lines in more countries, and providing more new products and services to the market and consumers. "As a Chinese businessman, like my parents, I always have full confidence in China and look forward to more surprises from Shanghai," said Shi Xueli.

   It not only organized 26 business sectors to participate in the 6th China International Fair, but also gave full play to the advantages of Chinese enterprises to help Chinese local high-quality products sell to the world, forming the "double play" of Chia Tai Group.

   Xie Yi said that Chia Tai Group "buys the world, sells the world" and hopes to help more Chinese enterprises explore the Southeast Asian market. "We are willing to give full play to our advantages in capital, technology, cultural integration, etc., to build more platforms for exchange and cooperation, and build bridges and ties for China's cooperation in various fields with countries around the world."

   In Zhai Jingli's view, continuous participation in the Expo is also an important driving force for enterprises to improve their own development and progress, expand their business territory and influence. "A single flower is not spring, and the garden is full of colorful flowers." Zhai Jingli said, "In the future, we can help more Chinese enterprises to go out and develop greater markets and business opportunities."

   Although the experience of Chinese enterprises entering the Expo is different, their participation in the annual Expo has been their common agreement. The story of Chinese enterprises and the Expo's common growth and mutual achievements remains to be continued.
