Tsinghua University And Donghua University Jointly Released The First Big Model Of Fiber Knowledge In China

The first big model of fiber knowledge in China, AlphaFiber 1.0, jointly developed by Professor Shi Li from the Department of Automation of Tsinghua University, the School of Materials Science and Engineering of Donghua University (the State Key Laboratory of Fiber Material Modification) and Jiangsu Jicui Advanced Fiber Materials Research Institute Co., Ltd., was recently released in Songjiang Campus of Donghua University.

Zhu Meifang, Dean of School of Materials Science and Engineering of Donghua University and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shi Li, Professor of Automation Department of Tsinghua University, Yang Lin, Deputy Director of Science Popularization and Science and Technology Communication Department of Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission, Lu Yan, Professor of Potsdam University/Helmholtz Center in Germany, Duan Xiaoping, Vice President of China Textile Industry Federation, Wang Songlin, Executive Vice President of Hengyi Petrochemical Co., Ltd./President of the Research Institute, Hu Yu, co-founder of iFLYTEK Co., Ltd., Zhou Jialiang, Deputy Director of Jiangsu Jicui Advanced Fiber Materials Research Institute Co., Ltd. and nearly 100 experts and scholars in the fiber field and artificial intelligence field at home and abroad attended the event.

AlphaFiber 1.0 is the first big knowledge model for the fiber industry in China. Relying on the ability of the big language model in natural language processing, it has conducted research on literature data including books, journals, patents, raw material formula, experimental procedures, physical and chemical properties, and other experimental data, knowledge systems, expert experience The learning of massive knowledge in the fiber field, including industrial processes and other types of data, has achieved accurate information supply and automated content generation in the fiber field. Through continuous upgrading and optimization, it has provided powerful help for the popularization of fiber materials science.

Zhu Meifang made a report around the development trend of fiber field in the context of artificial intelligence, and summarized the important role of artificial intelligence in the design, research and production of fiber materials.

Shi Li introduced the basic functions, technical features and application prospects of AlphaFiber 1.0. She said that the birth of China Fiberbix combines the profound technical accumulation of the Department of Automation of Tsinghua University in the research of vertical large models, the rich data resources of the School of Materials Science and Engineering of Donghua University and the strong computational support of Jiangsu Jicui Advanced Fiber Materials Research Institute Co., Ltd.
