Wearing Shoes To See 30 Years Of Change

My nephew has run a family in Shenzhen.

In 1964, I was admitted to junior high school, and my mother made me a pair of cloth shoes.

The bottom is made of linen with layers of new white cloth, and the upper is made of corduroy. It fits perfectly and feels soft.

At that time, Jinsha County in Guizhou province suffered natural disasters for three consecutive years.

In our countryside, many families can't afford to eat.

My peers don't wear shoes. Some of them are naked. They can't even wear decent clothes.

I treasure the shoes my mother made for me.

My home is 24 Li from our school. All of our rural students live in school and go home once a week.

Every time I went home, I wrapped up the cloth shoes that my mother had made for me, put them in my schoolbag, and walked on bare feet, so as not to wear shoes.

Because of my love, I spent three years with those shoes until I graduated from junior high school.

In 70s of last century, I took part in the work after graduating from normal school.

My family's life improved, and I started wearing rubber shoes.

The first is the liberation of the light gray rubber shoes, then gradually wear long rubber shoes, white rubber shoes, back sports shoes.

When I was married that year, I got a pair of leather shoes for everyone from my family.

In 1991, I pferred to Jinsha County to engage in news propaganda work.

In the interview, I learned that Jinsha County has more than 10 leather shoes factories, and the supply of leather shoes is in short supply.

Unexpectedly, a few years later, Jinsha's shoe factories were closed.

Originally, Jinsha's locally produced leather shoes are old fashioned, and have not kept up with the trend of the times. Instead, they are brand stores of all kinds of brand shoes.

At present, people's consumption level is even higher. They wear fashionable shoes and all kinds of casual shoes.

In Jinsha County, there are more than a dozen world-famous brand shoes stores on the street of Cheng Zi road.

In recent years, I have passed many famous brands of leather shoes such as "Yi Kang" and "Red Dragonfly".

Look at the people around them. They are wearing all kinds of shoes and are heading for a better life.
