When the models came ashore from West Lake's dragon boat, they saw the silk fashion expression.

It is said that there are more than 40 kinds of silk fabrics, and the 150 sets of clothes displayed by Wu Haiyan are almost all used. Designers' talents and technological means make silk expression amazing.

For us, Wu Haiyan, a graduate student in dyeing and weaving and clothing department of the Academy of fine arts, is Wu Bibo.

She told us how traditional fabrics blend with Western styles.

Silk painting VS brocade

Inkjet is the most used method of clothing in the Wu Haiyan press conference, and brocade is the most used material in these garments.

The most typical example is the "Jin Mu water and fire" series, which is displayed on the opening stage, which is the effect of inkjet painting on brocade, concise style and soft luster of silk, creating beautiful artistic conception.

It is said that Wu Haiyan has specialized in making a batch of white brocade for these garments.

-

Embroidered VS crepe satin

For professional people, different grades of plain crepe satin have different expressions.

The layman is fascinated by its softness, smoothness and beauty.

When embroidery appeared on the colourful crepe satin, it became luxurious. The branches and leaves of the peony trembled in fashion.

-

Embroidered VS yarn

The soft and pparent yarn is another style on the model, especially when the same color embroidery is used to create lace like effect on it.

Embroidery makes people feel like a faint song in the hidden body.

-

Wrinkle VS silk

It is a modern feeling which is full of antique fabrics that appear in front of us.

The slanting cut, the sharp corner brushed past the wind in the evening wind and the fallen leaves. The wrinkled hare showed its texture effect, flashing with different layers of luster, pparent and hard lines streaked across the air, leaving a crisp sound.

And that kind of purple red is the color of India spices, it makes this gorgeous fashion also has an ancient flavor.

Elastic velvet, India brocade and others

The velvet velvet appeared on Wu Haiyan's extremely simple skirts, shining brilliance in the twilight.

The fabric of velvet silk and velvet is the most representative of Wu Haiyan's style. The fabric is as feminine as the work.

The colorful India brocade makes up the spirit of real dress, which is made from India.

And the pattern of the Dragon brocade is also knitted on the fabric according to the designer's requirements. It tells us that silk can also be publicized like this.
