Anti Dumping Duties On Towel In Mainland Of Taiwan

On the 19 th, the Taiwan Region decided to continue to carry out anti-dumping duties on the towels made in mainland China for five years, starting from December 20th.

Imported towels hurt towels made in Taiwan.


This case is related to Kunshan Shun man textile company, Zhejiang Shangdeng textile company and a large number of other companies.

Manufacturing enterprises will face anti-dumping duties imposed by 86.6%-204.1%.


The anti-dumping action was followed by the first round of anti-dumping actions five years ago. The last anti-dumping action took place from June 1, 2006 to May 31, 2011.

Taiwan's Ministry of Finance and Ministry of economic affairs renewed the anti-dumping investigation and decided to carry out the implementation for another five years.

Customs duties will be closed until December 19, 2015.


Taiwan media reported that all the products that have encountered anti-dumping duties come from the mainland, including towels, shoe tracks, Portland cement and its residue.
