In from January 11 to 12, 2012, Wang Shuwen, Deputy Secretary General of China Resources Comprehensive Utilization Association, Tang Shijun, an expert on comprehensive utilization of waste textiles, and Meng Yuehui, director of information consultation department, went to waste materials recycling enterprises in Changping and Dou Dian District of Beijing for investigation and discarding.

The research group mainly inspected the recycling network of the waste textiles north of Chengnan city in Beijing, and conducted in-depth exchanges with the responsible persons of Li Hao, the general manager of scrap materials recycling company of Tianma river.
At present, Beijing produces about about 1000000 tons of waste textiles every year. The waste textiles are mainly sent to Shanghai, Jiangyin, Shijiazhuang, Hebei and other places, and then the waste textiles are made.

Therefore, it is imperative to explore the construction of waste textiles recycling and sorting centers in the southern and northern urban areas of Beijing, and carry out intensive treatment and utilization of waste textiles.
This study mainly found out the basic situation of the recycling and utilization of waste textiles in Beijing area, and provided useful enlightenment for further improving the added value of the comprehensive utilization of waste textiles and making scientific policy documents on the comprehensive utilization of waste textiles.
