The New Version Of National Textile Standard Urges Health And Environmental Protection To Become The Trend Of Textile And Clothing Development
Reporters yesterday from Fujian Quanzhou entry-exit inspection and Quarantine Bureau Shishi office was informed that the new version of the national basic safety technical specification for textile products (GB18401-2010) will be formally implemented in August 1st this year, the new standard is more concerned about the safety of textile products, and thus textile.

It is reported that since its implementation in January 1, 2005, GB18401 has played an important role in effectively protecting the health of Chinese textile consumers, standardizing the market of textile products and improving the overall level of China's textile industry.
Compared with the 2003 edition, the 2010 edition of the new standard has two major modifications:
First, the standard scope of application, in addition to retaining the original textile products used for decoration and decoration, has added household textile products; the textile products list which does not fall within the scope of the standard has increased from 10 to 13 categories. New disposable sanitary articles, bags, back bags, shoes, umbrellas and floor blankets have been added. The definition of infants has been changed from 36 months to less than 24 months.
The two is that banned azo dyes added "4- amino azobenzene" to 24 kinds of physical and chemical indicators. The range of pH value of directly contacting skin textile products is changed from 4 to 7.5 to 4 to 8.5. The saliva fastness is only evaluated for infant textile products, and other decorative products such as curtains are not tested for perspiration fastness. The traditional handmade coloring products such as natural and bleaching products and tie dye and batik dyes are not tested for color fastness; and the sampling requirements for color fastness, formaldehyde, pH value, and decomposable carcinogenic aromatic amine dye test are added.
To this end, Quanzhou entry exit inspection and Quarantine Bureau Shishi office recommends that the relevant export enterprises pay close attention to the update and change of the new standards, so as to respond promptly.
