Because of the special functions of PFOS products (mainly for textiles with "Three Prevention" functions such as waterproofing, oil proofing and antifouling, not all garments), the implementation of the ban has little impact on Wenzhou's general clothing products and footwear products.

Some time ago, the Zhejiang inspection and Quarantine Bureau carried out PFOS sampling inspection of Zhejiang's clothing products, and did not detect PFOS in the general clothing products.

PFOS the inspection department has learned that at present, the physical and chemical laboratory of Zhejiang Institute of inspection and Quarantine Science and Technology (address No. 2 Wensanlu Road, Hangzhou) can detect the PFOS items of textiles and garments, and the detection period is 5 working days under normal conditions.

At present, the laboratory of Wenzhou inspection and Quarantine Bureau has successfully mastered the detection method of PFOS, and has purchased the standard sample for PFOS detection.

The value of about 2 million 500 thousand yuan of detection equipment, has entered the process of government procurement, will soon be in place.

At the same time, the Wenzhou inspection and Quarantine Bureau said that in order to facilitate the "physical examination" at the door of the enterprise, the technical center of the Bureau has uniformly accepted the samples sent by Wenzhou enterprises to the inspection and quarantine system from August 1st. The enterprises only need to send samples at the inspection center of the Wenzhou inspection and Quarantine Bureau to complete the inspection of the samples.
