According to the August 2009 People's Republic of China and Republic of Korea Treaty on the pfer of sentenced persons, the Chinese central authorities designated by the treaty and the Ministry of justice of People's Republic of China put forward a request to pfer Jiang to prison.

After judicial assistance from the Ministry of justice and the foreign affairs division and the community correctional authority, the Ministry of justice made the decision of the Ministry of justice in August 6th to pfer the Korean sentenced person Jiang Mou to the competent authorities of Korea to continue the execution of the sentence.
