Kangtai Nashi Appoints Li Li Li As New President Of China

 

According to a public statement on the official website of the head office of contex, the group today appointed Li Li Li as the president of China. She will report directly to Roger Lynch, chief executive of contex. The appointment will take effect on October 12.

Li Li has a wealth of experience in building luxury brands through strategic use of digital platforms and e-commerce development, which can help advertising partners and audiences connect in innovative ways, contex said.

Previously, Li Li was the head of e-consumption for Bose Greater China and general manager of viplex, responsible for establishing the online retail business of its e-commerce platform and formulating Omni channel strategy for high-end brand partners. In addition, she has served as an executive in Fosun, Audemars Piguet and L'Oreal's luxury division.

Li Li graduated from the Department of architecture, Tsinghua University. She has a master's degree in fashion and luxury management from the French Institute of fashion (IFM), and a master of Business Administration (MBA) from Zhejiang University.

Yesterday, Liao Meichun, former president of contex Nashi China, just issued a statement saying that he had received a notice of suspension from the group headquarters on September 9, but did not give a clear reason. After repeatedly communicating with the headquarters, they were only told that they were "business related reasons".
