2020 China University Women'S Clothing Design Competition For Original Voice

Recently, the 2020 Chinese college women's clothing design competition and award ceremony was held in Shengze Oriental textile city, Jiangsu Province. Sun Ruizhe, chairman of International Textile Manufacturers Federation and President of China Textile Industry Federation; Xu Yingxin, vice president of China Textile Industry Federation and chairman of textile industry branch of China Council for the promotion of international trade; Li Binhong, director of national textile product development center; Chang Qing, vice president of textile industry branch of China Council for the promotion of international trade; Zhu, vice chairman of China Fashion Designers Association Shaofang, Xie Fangming, member of the Standing Committee of the Wujiang District Committee of Suzhou, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Wujiang high tech Zone, Secretary of the Party committee of Shengze Town and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of China's Oriental silk market, and LV Weifeng, director of the Management Committee of Wujiang high tech Zone and mayor of Shengze Town, attended the event and presented awards to the winners.

It is reported that the competition is jointly sponsored by the people's Government of Shengze Town and China Fashion Designers Association, aiming to promote the in-depth integration of production and education in the fashion industry, and provide an opportunity for the "afterwave" in the fashion industry to ride the wind and ride the waves. The competition was launched at the end of May this year, focusing on two categories of daily women's wear and creative women's wear. After the competition, preliminary evaluation and fabric docking meeting, a total of 34 groups of works from 30 famous fashion colleges entered the final.

Under the guidance of the theme of "design power + new engine of fashion Shengze", the contestants take Shengze fabric as the lifeline of design, and excavate the characteristics of Shengze high-quality fabric from a new angle with innovative thinking. The materials and techniques used in the final show are very innovative and exquisite. After fierce competition, Xue Yao, No. 20 from Guangdong Vocational and technical college, won the gold medal; Zhu Shengnan, No. 27, from Jiangxi Institute of fashion and Zhao Shiwei, No. 24, from Academy of fine arts of Tsinghua University, won the silver prize; Kangda, No. 34 from Jiangxi Institute of fashion, Wang Xiangyu, No. 2 from art school of Tianjin University of technology, and Liu Siwen, No. 19 from art school of China Women's University, won bronze medals respectively. The works of the top 20 contestants will have a chance to show their style in China International Fashion Week in March next year.

According to the Organizing Committee of the competition, in order to help contestants quickly find fabric resources, in early August, with the improvement of the domestic epidemic situation, 38 Shengze fabric enterprises also gathered in the off-line negotiation meeting of the competition to seamlessly connect with the participating teachers and students. At the docking meeting, a piece of fabric "small card" seems to be a beautiful "invitation" to enter the final for the players.

Competitors select fabrics based on the theme of the competition, fashion trends, design requirements, etc., and also put forward fabric category requirements according to their own design ideas. Docking enterprises can sort out and feedback their own products according to their needs.

At the docking meeting, enterprises have said that in the post epidemic era, the fabric docking meeting is an effective way for textile enterprises to expand domestic sales and expand production capacity. The precise docking of supply and demand sides not only reduces the marketing cost of enterprises, but also timely obtains market demand from the feedback of young designers for customized research and development, and optimizes the product development process.

During the event, the organizing committee also awarded the "2020 China University Women's clothing design competition fabric cooperation enterprise award" medals for 38 textile enterprises supporting the competition. Shangjiukai launched a new product.
