Recently, at the 2020 China Green company annual meeting, Ma Yun, chairman of China Entrepreneur Club and founder of Alibaba group, said in his speech that the next decade will be the last decade for traditional industries to promote digitization.

He said that 20 years ago, he had been to many provinces to talk about the impact of the Internet on the retail industry and the manufacturing industry. People didn't respond to it. Until Taobao, tmall, Alibaba, Baidu and Tencent got up, they suddenly felt that the "wolf" was coming. In fact, the "wolf" has always been there.

He believes that 2020 should be a turning year. I have discussed with many entrepreneurs and found that everyone is a little anxious. In fact, everyone has anxiety, any era, any enterprise, anyone has anxiety, but some people are sensitive and some are not.

I'm very glad to meet you all in Haikou. After the epidemic, we know that meeting each other is a very precious thing.

This is the annual meeting of green company held in Hainan. It is also the collective visit of so many entrepreneurs from China Entrepreneur Club (CEC). When we come to Hainan this time, we have no other ideas. We just want to support the free trade port, because at this time, China needs to be more open and more in line with the world!

The year 2020 is very special, and the future must be a watershed in history. Hainan's becoming a free trade port must also be a historic choice. I hope that CEC's Hainan conference will also become a cross era meeting. After the epidemic situation, the beginning of new globalization, and the arrival of the whole digital age, CEC entrepreneurs will be able to participate in this period of history Create unique value.

I was in Wuhan yesterday, and I went to Wuhan with more than 30 directors of CEC. Watching Wuhan on TV a few months ago was really difficult. This time I came to Wuhan, I really felt that Wuhan was a heroic city with heroic temperament. The epidemic is over. We should think about how to revive the economy. The purpose of economic rebirth is not to go back to yesterday or to the past, but to see the future from the epidemic situation, see the trend and seize the opportunity at a higher level.

This time I came to Hainan from Wuhan. I think it's a coincidence. There seems to be something inevitable. Two years ago, the chairman announced the strategy of building Hainan free trade port and opening up in an all-round way. Two years later, great changes have taken place in the world pattern. However, I still believe that we must persist in opening up and globalization. Especially after the outbreak of the epidemic, I believe that all the doors in the world should be opened by ourselves. No door is naturally open.

At this time, adhering to globalization is more important and meaningful than ever. Now Hainan is standing at a new historical starting point. The construction of a free trade port is not a simple opportunity for Hainan's development, nor is it an opportunity for China's economic development, but a historical responsibility to explore new globalization for the world.

In my opinion, internationalization and globalization are two different concepts. Internationalization is more inclined to Chinese doing business with foreigners, mainly bilateral. Globalization is a major event of all countries in the world and a global issue.

Today, many people feel that globalization is facing many problems. And I don't think so: I think today is the beginning of real globalization.

Today is yesterday, the old, the traditional, the industrial age of globalization is coming to an end. The globalization of the new, real and digital age has just opened up.

In the past, globalization was dominated by developed countries and large enterprises. In the future, globalization should enable developing countries and small and medium-sized enterprises to go to the world. In the past, trade was the main force of globalization, and science and technology would be the main force of globalization in the future. In the past, people and goods were flowing, and data and services were flowing in the future. In the past, globalization of traditional enterprises was to make good use of the Internet In the future, anyone with only one mobile phone can do global business. In the future, all small and medium-sized enterprises will be multinational companies. In the past 30 years, 6000 large enterprises have decided to globalize. In the future, 60 million small and medium-sized enterprises will decide globalization. Geographical expansion is business expansion, which is a great opportunity for us from the world.

This is a new round of globalization driven by China's domestic demand.

In a new round of globalization, China will change from "selling and selling" to "buying and buying". Hainan will play an important role in the history of free trade. If globalization and globalization do not take on more rules and regulations for sustainable development, will there be more opportunities for developing countries to make more rules and regulations for the future. In fact, we need not be afraid to change from "selling" to "buying and buying". Every time China opens its door, it is a symbol of China's progress. We need to keep going out. I remember that our former people went out to find the gap. We felt that others had done a good job in this and that one. Today, many of our Chinese enterprises are going abroad, or many Chinese people are looking for feelings. When we're looking for feelings, we're actually going backwards.

The last globalization was driven by the consumption of 300 million people in the United States; this globalization in China is the domestic demand of 1.4 billion people, which will drive the next round of real globalization and drive the world economy. Import is not the end point. Import will ultimately force China's industrial upgrading and consumption upgrading, and promote the development of modern service industry. For entrepreneurs, the future opportunities are in China's small towns with millions of people. I don't know if you know how many cities in China have a population of over 1 million. I made a preliminary statistics in 2014. There are less than 12 cities with a population of 1 million in the United States and 167 cities in China with a population of 1 million. However, the infrastructure construction of 1 million people and the huge industry born of 1 million people are far from being well developed. With a population of nearly one million cities, maybe we will have 300 in the future, and these places will burst out with huge consumption potential. Domestic demand is not driven by the rich. Domestic demand should meet the needs of every ordinary people. The pull of domestic demand of ordinary people is the real sustainable development value of domestic demand.

The new globalization is an ability to serve the world.

The core of globalization is to create value, create jobs in other countries and regions, and do things that cannot be done locally. If we say that in the past, China's going out must require people to go out, machines to go out and funds to go out; today's China's going out needs information going out, service going out and value going out. Globalization is an ability to serve the world, not to make world money. Chinese enterprises should firmly go global instead of conquering the world. Many people climb mountains and think that they want to conquer nature, but nature is not to conquer, nature should be subject to. For the real value of the world, it is not expedition, but to create value. What we want to win back is not only profits, but also respect. What we want to show is not a strong country, but a good and beautiful country. We don't want to transfer excess capacity, but to create new and different values, respect local culture, local values, local religions and beliefs, and respect for everyone There are different mechanisms and systems in different countries. We have to believe that the world is beautiful because it is different. It's all like you, it's not good. It's like everybody else.

2020 should be said to be a turning year. I have discussed with many entrepreneurs and found that they are more or less anxious. In fact, there are people who are not sensitive to the times. Some people are not sensitive.

My judgment of the future: the future must be good, it is difficult in the near future, and even more difficult in the medium term. It's a bumpy period when the plane passes through the clouds, so we should grasp the steering wheel and fasten the safety belt. But the most important thing is to have a vision of the future. When you never look at today, the difficulties today are not any difficulties. When you only look at today and compare with yesterday, you will be more and more frustrated. Therefore, we should face the future and solve today's problems with the methods of the future, not the methods of yesterday. Many people are very optimistic, and many people are very pessimistic. I think that over optimism and over pessimism are all because they don't see the future clearly.

Yesterday's views and actions determine the present day of your enterprise, and today's views and thoughts determine the future of your enterprise. The future doesn't mean what you will look like in two years' time. The future refers to what your enterprise will become after 20 years or 30 years. Every enterprise here, your scale today, your achievements today, what we have achieved today is not what we do today, all because we believed that China will have today 20 years ago. Twenty years later, when you believe that the future of the world will become how you believe in the future.

Among all the great uncertainties today, I think digitization is certain, and digitalization will transform all industries in an all-round way. Not every enterprise has to transform, but every enterprise must upgrade and complete digital upgrading. Now don't worry about the "old Wang" who has been competing with you for 20 or 10 years. What you need to worry about is those "Xiao Li" that you don't know and haven't seen. These people have never appeared. They have no burden. They adopt new technologies, dare to innovate and dare to use the Internet. These young people will be the hope of China, but it may also be the pressure that everyone here may encounter. In the end, it is not the Internet enterprises that beat you, but the enterprises that make good use of Internet technology. I hope all enterprises must think about it today, and upgrade their management, organization and products by using data.

The next decade will be the last decade for traditional industries to promote digitization. In fact, 20 years ago, in many provinces I have been to, I kept talking about the impact of the Internet on the retail industry and the manufacturing industry. We didn't respond to it. I would like to tell you that digital technology will redefine manufacturing, retail, technology, means of production and everything else. Soon, this technology will lead to changes in all production relations in the whole society.

In fact, the more industries far away from technology in the future, the more industries that have not been transformed by technology, the greater the opportunities. In fact, as long as a lot of enterprises invest more technology, more talents and more ideas, the benefits and values obtained will be very certain. Today, if you are purely an Internet company, you may not have a return, but if you turn your traditional enterprise into a digital one, your return is certain.

The key to the digital transformation of traditional industries lies in the concept, the key lies in the concept. The responsibility must lie in the top leaders, not in the technical departments, and the enterprises whose leaders do not change must not be the enterprises with foresight and responsibility.

The epidemic situation will always end, but the new crown disease may accompany mankind for hundreds of years or even thousands of years. Now, the virus may live longer than any of us. We should learn to adapt, and our epidemic prevention should also learn to change from conventional epidemic prevention to normal epidemic prevention. Perhaps most hospitals will have a "new crown Department" in the future, which is a possible situation for long-term coexistence 。

2020 is destined to be a year to change history. When we were in Wuhan, CEC entrepreneurs put forward the following requirements: entrepreneurs are not equal to rich people, and rich people are not necessarily entrepreneurs. When high-quality entrepreneurs do not need to step forward, the nation will be hard to come forward. After the outbreak, we must take the initiative to recover the epidemic, and we must take the initiative to recover the epidemic.

All enterprises, entrepreneurs here, if your enterprise has not experienced three or five disasters in ten or twenty years, your enterprise will never be able to withstand the blow.
